Twenty-three

Beomgyu slowly opened his eyes, letting them adjust. He sat up and realized Yeonjun wasn't next to him.

He yawned, getting up after he stretched. He walked around, wondering where Yeonjun went. But then he noticed a note on the door and grabbed it.

Beomgyu,

I know I said I wouldn't leave you, but I have to. My dad will try to find me again, he always has a way. So, I'm leaving the country. Please take care of yourself. I love you.

Yours forever,

Yeonjun

Tears formed in Beomgyu's eyes. He was tired of this game. He wanted Yeonjun to come back.

Beomgyu: Kai?

Hueningkai: Yeah?

Beomgyu: Yeonjun left...

Hueningkai: Wait WHAT?????

Beomgyu: He's leaving the country and I don't know what to do...

Hueningkai: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on, I'm coming over. We'll figure this out, okay?

Beomgyu: Okay...

Beomgyu opened the door for Kai with tears in his eyes. 

"Oh, Beoms." Kai said, walking forward and hugging him.

"Just yesterday he said he wouldn't leave me again, Kai." Beomgyu cried. 

"I know. But, since I'm so awesome, I might have a solution."

Beomgyu looked at him. "What is it?"

"There's only one plane leaving soon. I bet you he'll be going on it." Kai said, grabbing his hand and starting to lead him out the door.

"I don't know... this time he's serious." Beomgyu mumbled. Kai sighed.

"Beomgyu, Soobin didn't get killed, and you didn't almost get killed just so you could give up. This. is. happening. Even if I have to drag you there myself."

Beomgyu sighed. "When's the plane leaving?"

"Let's just say that, If we don't leave now, you'll miss your chance."

Beomgyu slowly nodded. "Alright... let's go."

Kai pulled up to the airport and glanced at Beomgyu. "You ready for this?"

Beomgyu sighed. "I don't know, anymore."

"Well, do you love him or not?" Kai asked. Beomgyu looked at him.

"I do."

"Then don't worry, okay? Be brave. No matter what goes down, it'll be okay. Me and Taehyun will always be here for you."

"Though then I'll be the third wheel." Beomgyu joked. 

"Just go and get your man, alright dude?" Kai said with a slight smile. Beomgyu nodded.

He opened the car door and stepped out, rushing into the airport. 

He spent several minutes looking around for any sign of Yeonjun.

And then, he saw him.

"Yeonjun!" Beomgyu yelled, running towards him.

Yeonjun spun around. "Beomgyu?-"

Beomgyu practically launched himself at Yeonjun and hugged him. "Don't leave me. Please don't. You promised. I'll do anything."

Beomgyu felt Yeonjun wrap his arms around him. "I'm doing it for your own good."

"Well, don't!" Beomgyu said, hugging tighter. "If you want to do anything for me, then stay."

Yeonjun lifted Beomgyu's chin. "I can't-"

"You can! I'm not letting go. If you want to leave, then you'll have to get me off."

Yeonjun smiled sadly. "So stubborn."

"I know. But... don't leave me... please?" Beomgyu begged. "If he ever tries to do anything again, you can leave right away. But, I'm so tired of losing. I can't lose you now."

Yeonjun cupped Beomgyu's cheeks and rested his forehead against the younger boy's. But as he opened his mouth, Beomgyu interruppted. 

" I just need you by my side. No matter how much time we have left. I almost died, Yeonjun. I lost Soobin. You can bet I'm not losing you. If you leave now, I'll find you again. Even if I have to sell my soul to the devil himself."

"Okay." Yeonjun said slowly.

"Okay what?"

"Okay... I'll stay."

"Really?" Beomgyu asked, tears filling his eyes once again. Yeonjun nodded.

"Really."

"Promise?" He asked.

"Promise."

Yeonjun pulled Beomgyu closer and kissed him gently. Then, he took his hand and started walking out of the airport.

"So... you really promise to not leave me?" Beomgyu asked.

"I swear on my own life." Yeonjun said seriously. Beomgyu nodded and smiled.

"I'll be holding that against you, by the way."

"I wouldn't have it any other way."

(Aahhh it's so close to the endd :((( I'll miss writing this book!
