Two

Taehyun, Kai, Soobin and Beomgyu walked through the halls once more. Beomgyu looked around the halls and saw Yeonjun on his phone, leaning against a wall.

"Hey look, it's Yeonjun." Beomgyu pointed out to the others. "I'm going to go talk to him."

"Wait, are you crazy?" Kai asked. Beomgyu shrugged.

"Maybe." He replied before walking towards Yeonjun, who barely even glanced at him.

"Hi." The younger boy smiled at him. "I'm Beomgyu."

Yeonjun just glanced at him once more, but Beomgyu didn't give up.

"We haven't really talked before so I thought I would just say hi."

This time, Yeonjun's gaze swept over the younger boy until he looked directly into his eyes. "Weren't you the one staring at me during class?" He asked, mildly. Beomgyu flushed.

"I- well- I wasn't staring, see-"

Yeonjun held up a hand to silence Beomgyu's chatter. "What is it? I don't have time for this."

"Well... just wanted to say hi."

Beomgyu turned around, but before he was even a couple feet away, he turned back.

"I also kinda like you and was wondering if you would want to hang out sometime?" He asked quickly. Yeonjun looked slightly shocked.

"No." He said flatly. "Let's just say the feelings aren't mutual."

Beomgyu shrugged and grinned. "I'm up for the challenge. Everyone says how stubborn I am, so I guarantee in a couple weeks the feelings will be mutual."

"Look," Yeonjun said, tucking his phone in his back pocket. "If this is to prove you can get the mafia bosses son or something, just forget it."

"It's not to prove anything." Beomgyu assured him. "Crushes are normal, you know."

"I don't know, actually." Yeonjun said. "Does it look like I talk to anyone very often?"

Beomgyu shrugged. He had to admit, Yeonjun would be kind of hard to get.

"Well, now you can talk to me." Beomgyu smiled. Yeonjun sighed and rubbed his temples.

"You aren't going to leave me alone until I like you back, right?"

Beomgyu nodded. "Yep!"

Yeonjun sighed again. "It's never happening. Now beat it."

"Never say never!" Beomgyu grinned. "I'm not going to give up."

Beomgyu walked back to the others, who were staring at him like he was crazy.

"Dude, don't tell me you actually like him." Kai groaned.

"I do. What's so bad about that?"

Beomgyu noticed that Soobin started frowning. Kai shook his head.

"He's creepy. Plus, like- he could kill you if he wanted to. Or his dad could. Or anyone in his family."

"I don't think he will." Beomgyu looked at Taehyun and Soobin. "What do you guys think?"

Soobin shrugged, still frowning. "Do whatever you want."

Beomgyu wasn't very used to the bitter tone Soobin was using, but he let it go for now. He could talk to him later.

"Taehyun?" Beomgyu asked hopefully.

Taehyun sighed. "Well... just, be careful, alright?"

Beomgyu grinned and hugged Taehyun. "I knew you would back me up!"
