The nights were starting to get extremley cold, the Yaksha couldn't feel much of it of course. His body wasn't made to feel the temperature change. Unfortunately, the traveler for some reason felt how cold the wind was getting, he hopped over the fence to get to the side his companion was standing on. He wanted to suggest going back to the Bubu Pharmacy but he didn't want this day to end just yet.

The Adeptus had noticed the shivering coming from his boyfriend, who was trying his hardest not to shake from the cold. He didn't want to ruin the evening for them.

"You're feeling cold, are you not?"

"N-no."

"You are."

"..."

"Come on, I think it's time we head back..."

The blonde boy shook his head.

Xiao grabbed his lover's hands and felt them for a couple of seconds.

"Quit denying it, you are freezing. Your hands are as cold as ice. Come on now, I don't want you getting more sick."he grabbed his hand and dragged him to the stairs that were leading to the main street of the Harbor. But before they even started walking down the stairs Aether spoke again.

"I'm fine really, we can stay out a while longer...you don't need to-"

The Yaksha didn't wanna hear it, he grabbed the boy by the waist and he then teleported to the entrance of Bubu Pharamcy. He cared a lot about the traveler's health. Getting sick on top of all these injures definitely wouldn't be a good time to go through.

The door of the Pharmacy were already opened there was light coming from the room and Qiqi was already fast asleep on the counter, with a blanket covering her and keeping her body temperature nice and warm.

Before the Adeptus could drag the boy inside, he refused to move. Xiao turned to look at him, confused on why he didn't want to go back. He understood that doctor Baizhu was annoying to deal with sometimes but that didn't seem like the reason his boyfriend refused to go back in the Pharmacy.

Aether didn't have any particular look in his eyes telling him that that he was afraid to go there or anything, his body seemed to have stopped shivering from the warmth coming from the place.

"Let's stay outside for a bit...it's not as cold here."

"I suppose we could for a couple of minutes..."

"Thank y-" The blonde boy got cut off by a hand reaching out towards his face, it moved a strand of hair that was covering his eye and tucked it behind his ear while continuing to hold on to the boy's chin afterwards. The hand forced him to look at his boyfriend's gaze. "...you" Aether finished his sentence, as his eyes started to wander elsewhere. For some reason he felt shy looking at Xiao after he had done. They were now a couple so he didn't quite understand where the sudden embarrassment came from. The traveler wasn't the type to feel such pathetic way.

"Your hair has been lose for a long time now, isn't it irritating how it's constantly blocking you view?"

He felt as if the Yaksha was teasing him, was this just an excuse to get close to his lover?

"It is...but I never have the time or the motivation to braid it, it takes too much time."

"Uh, if you wish, I could braid it for you. I help Qiqi with her hair almost everyday, I don't think your's is any different from hers." Xiao learned how to braid the zombie girl's hair through babysitting her so often, most of the time he took care of her they'd have nothing to do so the conqueror of demons would try teaching himself to braid her hair from time to time. He often day dreamt about braiding the traveler's hair one day like that too. It seemed like now it was finally time for it to happen.

The blonde boy nodded with a smile. "That would be nice...but not now. It's better to try stuff with my hair in a warm place. Later when we go inside, I might let you try braiding it." He took the other hand of the Adeptus that wasn't on his chin and held it, his hand was quite warm. Aether then slowly proceeded to rest his hand on the boy's shoulder and gently lean onto him to stay warm, he was also extremley exhausted.

He was about to say something but before he could open his mouth there were some loud footsteps in the distance. Most of the citizens were already gone from the streets so of course the two boys immediately looked at the direction where the footsteps were coming from.

"Agh!" A loud groan from annoyance was heard in the distance. "I'm telling you! One day, I'm going to start making millions of mora just by selling coffins!"

"I do not wish to burst your bubble, miss Hu tao. But I don't think any mortal nowadays would pay that much mora for a simple coffin with...flowers stickers on it."

"You will see one day old man! I'm telling you!"

The voices of two familiar individuals were heard in the dark. The two guys instantly noticed who the two were. Xiao slightly jumped back at the surprise of the Geo Archon's voice.

"Wait...look! Isn't that Alatus and the traveler?"

"What did I tell you about calling him Alatus?" Zhongli sometimes really regretted telling the brown haired girl about his identity as Morax, she knew all about the Adeptuses and what their true names were. It was all because the Geo Archon liked telling her stories about them that happened ages ago.

"Huh~ is it just me or are those two spending a little too much time together recently? I think this might be the seventh time I've seen them this week. Something fishy is definitely going on." Hu tao ignored the complain her employer made and started scanning the two from head to toe from a distance.

"I'm proud that Xiao is finally making friends. This is a huge step for him. I must admit, I never would've thought he could start getting this close to anyone. Back then he was cursing out mortals every chance he got, now he isn't as annoyed of them." Zhongli was glad to see the boy sync so well with the traveler.

"Hehe...friends right!" Teased the funeral parlor as she started heading towards them. She wanted to say a quick hi and move on. Morax stayed behind, he didn't think he should bother them.

"No wait!" He yelled at her.

"Eh?!"

"Let them be. We've got coffins to decorate with stickers, wasting time on unnecessary things isn't really the best idea, is it miss Hu Tao?" And just like that he dragged the girl away, taking a different route to the place they originally meant to head to. He wanted to give the two boys a little privacy, they both seemed pretty close to eachother before they saw anyone looking at them.

The Yaksha noticed how they suddenly had dissapeared, he couldn't sense any negative energy from them so he ignored it, only thing he could really focus on were the eyes of his lover. He looked deep into them before eventually giving the blonde boy a long kiss on the lips. They've shared many kisses so that day, but yet it never felt enough.
