Roxanne and Shemlyn was born in slam in Cavite. They have huge dreams about their future and for their families.
When Shemlyn was growing up, she dreamed of being a teacher. But one day, she realized that she needed a job that provided an enormous salary for her family. She made up her mind to sail and find the beauty of the world.
Roxanne has a fantasy of being a lawyer. Yet her parents disapprove of her decisions and lack of financial resources. Rather, she takes a business-related course.
Shemlyn is older than Roxanne and they are both a single child in their family. They were like a true sister and support one another.
One day Shemlyn a seafarer offer a job to Roxanne. She was hesitant initially, but also enjoys trying to seize the new opportunity.
In the beginning, everything will be good in a good place and one day they will confront the greatest fear that the world is about to end.
