"Come on Jade, Zan we're almost to the hiking spot!" "Coming mom!" I reply and start running to get ahead of my brother and he starts running too, this causes my parents to laugh and scold us for being unsafe.
I run forward and can see my friends Gem and Rae with their parents. " Look! Look, it's Gem and Rae!" I exclaim and continue my running. "Jade! Slow down it's dangerous!" I can hear the worry in my parents voices so I do as told and walk over to Rae and Gem. My parents finally make it to us and in my impatience I yelled, " Can we go on the hike now?" " Okay, okay Jade, we can go now but be quiet because there are bears in the Smoky Mountains."
" B-bears!" I squeaked. "Yes, now be quiet." My parents warned but I didn't listen and my friends didn't either as we were all laughing and because of that we had woken the one thing we weren't supposed to, the bears, 2 to be exact. The bears growled loudly which made us halt and look around, big mistake a bear lunged out of a bush and onto my parents, killing them. I almost screamed but Gem put her hand over my mouth and she was trying to scream but wasn't able. the second bear was on her and Rae's mom too. Their fathers were telling Zan and Rae to take us back to safety in the cabin they owned. The last thing I remember is both men being mauled to death as we ran as fast as we could back to the cabin.
I woke up in a cold sweat, in my bunk, it was just a dream.
