The crisp winter air, and the crunchy sound of snow while people are walking. The kids in the background, playing with one another. The noise filled the rest of the atmosphere. A carriage and some knights was on the way to palace. The thing is, it wasn't from their kingdom.
"This happens basically everyday, and for what?" one of two the kids spoke to the other. "I heard all they do is argue and argue and argue. " The kid continued on.
"Oh be quite! It's been like this forever" their comrade talked back.
These two kids came from separate kingdoms, but seemed to get along well. As time went on, (the present) these kids became both kingdoms gossipmongers. They both knew something was going down between the two kingdoms, and they wanted first row seats to the drama. All the had to do was break into the castle. Don't fret, they had disguises and it wouldn't be their first time doing this.
The gossipers made it inside the castle's throne room. They posed as maids doing their daily duties.
"King Richard, it would be a wonderful benefit on my behalf if I knew why your knights are in my territory." King Charlie asked the king sitting on his throne.
"Oh, so you think I wouldn't play offense when your knights are nearing my kingdom?" The serious but questioning tone of King Richard's voice just made Charlie more upset.
"Well excuse you, my soldiers are nowhere near your kingdom." Charlie shooting back a little white lie. In fact, his soldiers has been a little to close to Richard's kingdom before the both of them was even born.
"Pst.. Pst!" one of the two gossipers whispered to the other. But then again, the two kings were arguing to loudly to even hear them.
"Oh my gowad, what." the other replied in an unfazed tone.
"Do you wanna like snoop around for old documents or something?"
"Hell yeah, these idiots are basically talking to a wall." Then the two friends left to roam the castle in search of some drama to tell at the tavern.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW UTTERLY STUPID YOU ARE!" Richard got up out of his seat to shouted at his foe.
"DO YOU HATE ME THAT MUCH!" King Charlie yelled back. Any normal person would think that they have a good explanation to be at each others all the time, but they don't. Sort of...
