Jean Bart: So... you're telling me... that he accepted my invitation without much resistance? Even after you broke thru the wall like some sort of a Jar filled with a red drink.
Dunkerque: Oui, he is now sitting outside and is looked over by le mars since Ise and Hyuga already went 'wild'
Dunkerque said as the pair peeks from the office coincidentally at just the right time when John was looking at the window where two pairs of fox ears were visible no matter how much their owners tried to hide them. And next to the boy a girl with a sword stood as she also looked out the window. John at the same time was internally screaming that he overlooked a perfect pun when meeting the l'adroit class destroyer
John: 'Her name is Le mars, how could I have overlooked saying Himars when meeting her, a perfect pun' | He thought to himself as he looked at the window as occasionally one of the two battleships would poke out randomly.
Le Mars: It's going to be Hyuga
John: Yup, it was Ise two times so she has to be the next | he said as the pair made a game out of the situation. And then Hyuga poked out to take a quick peek at the boy
John/Le Mars: Called it | The pair said, as the pair of Vichyan battleships went back into the office
Dunkerque: So are you ready to call him in? Besides, what did you want to talk about with him?
Jean Bart: Just tell him he can enter | She said as Dunkerque did just that and the boy entered
Once he was inside her office he walked over to a chair and stood as he watched the Battleship do the same, an awkward moment of silence commenced
John: So... do you need something from me or can I go? | He asked as the silence was nearing a minute
Jean Bart: R-right. Take a seat young commander | She said as she gestured at the seat and the boy did just that
John: Well, so what is the thing you want to talk about?
Jean Bart: First off, I'd like to know why you agreed to talk to me since you apparently dismissed Richielu's offer. | She said as Dunkerque entered carrying a tray of sweets
Dunkerque: Fell free to enjoy them | She said as she quickly left the office
John: Well... I'm not a religious person and I know that you know that the Iris Libre is a BIIIIIIIIT pushy when it comes to the topic of religion.
John said as he picked up one of the sweets and tasted it, on the other side of the door Dunkerque and Le Mars were eavesdropping both of them for a different reason "Did he enjoy it" Dunkerque thought as she heard him trying her sweets, "I wonder if he will spend more time around us now that the foxes are going wild" Le mars though as she knew what was happening and that John until now was avoiding the two ex Iris-Orthdoxy factions.
Jean Bart: They are more than a bit pushy. | The Vichyan battleship said with a hint of anger
John: And you are a little arrogant | John said immediately turning the tables
Jean Bart: What?! | She said as the Eavesdroppers had the same reaction... alongside the two foxes that were now eavesdropping thru the office window
John: I basically just told you the reason why I didn't choose the Iris and instead of just acknowledging the fact, you had to add the unnecessary comment... I already am talking with you so why downplay them more, besides not everyone in Iris is a Religious Nut just like not everyone in Vichya is arrogant... but you give that vibe | He said as Jean Bart just listened to what he said, and it was somewhat true, her comment was unnecessary and did not add anything into the conversation other than insulting his judgment which was less skewed because he wasn't arrogant
