Well into the reign of Henry Tudor, the eight of his name, and after loosing so many that he loved, thinking less with his heart and more like a king, Henry had been in correspondence with Scotland's regent, The Duke of Albany. It started with the likes of his sister, the former Queen of Scotland, but after she escaped the northern kingdom, Henry really did not feel like being bossed by his older sister in his own home.

The Duke of Albany, while has no legitimate children, he does however have two daughters, and one he favored delightly, her name was Genevieve. While looking to get both of his daughters legitimized, he looked forward in finding good matches for them. Genevieve was particularly a tricky case, because he promised her the world, and she thought that he was going to make her queen, married to her older cousin, James the fifth of Scotland.

Both Henry and the Duke of Albany found a way to satisfy their own agendas. Charles owed Henry a debt and now it was time to collect. It was just how they were going to react from this arrangement was what troubled them both.
