Chapter 1

I Run into the classroom out of breath. This happens every time I have to use the restroom during the passing period even though I know I'll still be the first one there. I look around the classroom... I see we have a substitute teacher. This is the fourth time Mrs. Vogel hasn't been here this week. I go sit down in my seat and wait for the others to come. Less than a minute after I take my seat the sub starts to walk to my desk. "Hello I'm Mr.Gardner I will be the substitute for your class until Mrs. Vogel is finished with jury duty. And Who are you ?" he asks " Jordan Gonzalez" I replied. Soon after I give him my name two kids walk in. Mr. Gardener immediately walked toward the two while I try to get ready for class. He tells them the same stuff that he said to me. "Could I please have both of your names?". There was silence and then I heard a voice that I almost immediately recognized. "Rose Williams" Rose said. Rose Williams has been my crush for years now and yet I haven't talked to her. She's very popular in our school. She isn't like those asshole popular kids from the movies. The only person she is ever mean to was " Matt Weed" Matt said as he put out his hand waiting for Mr. Gardener to shake it. Matt Weed, where do I start? well first off there's a rumor that him and Rose are dating. He's also the schools vice president. He's not as popular as Rose but he still is. I don't really know how to feel about that. After three minutes everyone is now here. Mr. Gardner is about to tell us what our next essay topic will be and honestly I couldn't care less. I tried to look at Rose who is across the room form me. Roses is everything I could ever want, she has dirty blonde hair, is very strong, and she is just straight-up beautiful. I don't know what I'd do if she was actually dating Matt I mean there is another rumor that Matt is gay. Now that I think about it... there are a lot of rumors about Matt. I mean maybe Rose and him are such good friends because they both like guys I hope that's the case. I hear the bell ring, did I really zone out for that long? "Class, I forgot to tell you guys that you're teacher has assigned you all partners". Well hopefully my partner is willing to do almost all the work. I don't really listen to what he is saying I am just waiting for him to say my name. "Jordan with Rose... ". Well shit.
