"What, fog? It's 'hamog."
"Hamog," Hong Kong repeated, though the word sounded a little odd to him. "In Cantonese it's 'mou hei.'"
"Mou hei, Cantonese is so straightforward to pronounce!"
Hong Kong raised a brow, though he looked amused at the same time. "Oh really? Then tell me, has my Filipino gotten better? Because I think your Cantonese is improving a little."
Hong Kong could have sworn that Philia blushing, though it's a little hard to tell because of the slight fog.
"S-seriously?" The smaller girl looked down, twiddling her thumbs. "I-I actually think your Filipino's great, it's a lot better than my Cantonese, actually!"
"Hmm. Yeah, but how you say it is all what matters to me."
"Oh."
It was an awkward silence between the both of them. Although outside is a little cooler than two days ago, the temperature's still tolerable what with the humidity from the fog. Although needless to say, Hong Kong decided to go out in his leather jacket to give himself a little warmth, just in case, since he doesn't like cold temperatures compared to Iceland (though ironically enough Iceland's landmass is almost entirely green). It makes him wonder if Philia's a little cold from this humid weather.
"So," Hong Kong finally spoke up, shifting his hands in his jacket pockets. "What do you want to do?"
Philia quickly looked up at him. "Huh?"
"You sent me a text nearly half an hour ago to come to this park to hang out with you. And now I'm telling you, what do you want to do."
"Oh." Philia pressed her lips together in thought. "Well, we could just, um... walk and talk about some things."
"That sounds like a great idea."
Philia let out a giggle and smiled. "I'm all for it!"
And so the two nations (well, city-state and nation) started walking down the path, opposite the direction Philia walked towards Hong Kong, despite the thin blanket of fog. Fortunately enough, though, it was thin enough to have some visibility in the distance.
"So your brother," Hong Kong started. "What's he like? All you told me was that he is a year younger than you, correct?"
"Yeah, he is," replied Philia. "Well, Rizal has a level head, and he can be a bit blunt and sarcastic sometimes, but he's a pretty nice guy once you get to know him. Oh, and he's a Germanophile."
Hong Kong snickered. "More fans for Germany, then."
Philia burst out laughing. "Yeah, totally! And also for Prussia."
Hong Kong's expression then turned to "WTF." "For Gilbert, seriously?"
