Two

"I'm sure you did." Taehyun patted him on the back.

Kai looked around then saw the look on Soobin's face. "Why don't you guys go on ahead?" Kai asked. Taehyun and Beomgyu looked confused, but agreed.

"What's wrong?" Kai asked Soobin, who was still frowning and fidgeting with the end of his shirt.

Soobin sighed. "I don't know... well, that's a lie, I do but..." Soobin sighed again. 

Kai watched him and waited patiently, letting him sort it out until he was ready to speak.

"Damn it..." Soobin mumbled. "It's just... I like Beomgyu... but now suddenly he likes Yeonjun, who he doesn't even know."

Kai frowned. "I see your problem. Has Beomgyu ever acted like he might like you too?"

Soobin kept fidgeting with his shirt. "One time, yeah... I just don't know what the hell happened." He groaned and buried his face in his palms. Kai patted him on the back.

"It's okay. And don't worry, I can ask Beomgyu if he likes you at all."

Soobin peeked through his fingers at Kai. "You shouldn't bother."

Kai sighed. "Come on, dude, how long have you liked Beomgyu?"

Soobin mumbled something that Kai couldn't hear. 

"Speak up." Kai said, and Soobin covered his face once more.

"A year..."

Kai whistled. "Wow. Dude, I'm sure it'll be fine. You've liked him for that long and he doesn't even know Yeonjun like at all! Plus, Yeonjun doesn't even like him. Or anyone for that matter."

Soobin peeked through his fingers once more. "I guess..."

"Dude, leave it to me, I'll find out in the most subtle way possible."

*Beomgyu's POV (First person)*

Kai flopped on my bed beside me and propped his chin on his hands. I pulled out one of my earbuds and handed it to him. 

"Want to listen?" I asked. Kai nodded and took it, putting it in his ear.

"Beomgyu, can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead." I said, glancing at him sideways.

"Do you like Soobin?"

I thought about it for a second. Soobin's one of my best friends, and he's always nice to me.

"Yeah, he's a good person." I said, still looking at Kai, who shook his head.

"I meant like like, like you know... like like... like... oh my god, I quit." 

I blinked at him several times and laughed. "You realize you just said 'like' six times in one sentence?"

Kai smacked my arm but laughed. "Be quiet!" He whined. "You know what I mean, right?"

I grinned. "Why are you asking, though? Do you like him?"

Kai smacked me again. "Don't be stupid! You know I like Taehyun."

I nodded and thought about it again. I honestly wasn't sure if I saw Soobin like that... he's awesome and charming, and maybe even cute... but I just have a feeling about Yeonjun...

"Maybe once, I did." I said, thoughtfully. 

Kai groaned. "Dude! When was this?"

I thought again. "Maybe like three or four months ago, why?"

Kai groaned louder, and started shaking me violently. "Why didn't you tell him???"

"Geez, Kai, calm down!" I said, rolling to the other side of the bed so he couldn't shake me. "And I don't know, I just thought he didn't like me and it might have been awkward."

This time, Kai grabbed a pillow and started whacking me. 

"Hey! Why are you whacking me?" I said, trying to avoid the pillow.

"I'm trying to whack some sense into you!"

"What?? Why??" I asked, now more then a little confused.

"BECAUSE SOOBIN HAS LIKED YOU FOR A YEAR! AND HE'S STILL WAITING FOR YOU!" Kai shouted with a groan, continuing to hit me.

I grabbed the pillow. "Wait, what?? Soobin likes me?"

Kai dropped the pillow and covered his mouth. "Shit, shit. I wasn't supposed to tell you that part."

"But you did." I pointed out, sitting up. "Does he seriously like me?"

Kai nodded and sat down. "He told me about it once you and Taehyun left earlier. He was upset because of the whole you liking Yeonjun thing now."

I stared at Kai for several seconds. "He... likes me...wow." I mumbled, deep in thought.

"Yes, yes, he likes you. Now what are you going to do about it?"

I looked at Kai. "I'm not sure... don't get me wrong, Soobin's absolutely awesome, but... I don't know... I have a feeling about Yeonjun, okay? Like maybe... he's what I'm looking for. I've had the feeling for so long and finally paying attention to Yeonjun, it just seemed... right."

Kai sighed. "So you're going to break Soobin's heart? Because you realize I promised to tell him, right?"

I groaned. "Kai! I don't want to hurt Soobin. Can't you just avoid telling him till this is all sorted out?"

Kai shrugged. "I don't know. But I will say this, Beoms... Yeonjun doesn't even like you, but you already have this awesome guy waiting for you. Yeonjun probably won't ever feel the same, but Soobin's feelings are true."

"Why does this have to happen to me?" I smacked myself on the forehead repeatedly. Kai grabbed my hand.

"Dude, don't stress about it. Just think about it, okay? Try getting Yeonjun to like you, but if he doesn't... give Soobin a chance, alright? Someone like Soobin doesn't come along everyday."

"I know..." I mumbled. "Fine, we'll do it this way, alright?"

Kai nodded. "Alright! Just wait, by the end of this, you'll see that I was right all along!"
