all it took was the smallest hint of it. A scent I'd recognized but couldn't place. The familiarity of it caused me to remember, yet I still couldn't place it. So I thought more, dug deeper. But the culprit didn't come to mind. Only the pathetic state I'd been in when I had apparently learnt the smell. years of forgetting, years of moving on, of healing. And all it took was a smell to take me back.
