I ARRIVALS

   You stepped off of the jet, toting a suitcase behind you. This is your first time being in Wakanda. You met your best friend, Princess Shuri, while she was on a diplomatic visit in the states. She would usually come visit you, while you were at Howard. Even when you guys were apart, you would never go a day without talking. At least, not two months ago. Now, the princess' messages are scarce. You missed your best friend, and decided to pay her a visit. 

 Okoye is standing there to greet you. She has been your connection to Shuri. If she wouldn't talk to you herself, Okoye would for you.

"Hey girl!" You greeted her with a hug. Okoye leaned into it. When she pulled back, her face was stoic with worry. 

 "Imani...." She started to say something, then decided against it. "I'm so glad you're here." 

 "Is Shuri in the palace?" You ask."No, she's practically been living in her lab at Mount Bashenga. "We have to go there."

 You two board one of the Royal Talons and head to Mount Bashenga. Once you guys are close to the mountain, Okoye comes and sits down facing you, her face stoic like it was when you met her earlier that afternoon. "Imani, Shuri has changed. A lot of things have happened since you last spoke to her.

"You let out a light hearted chuckle. "What? Is the princess too good for me now?"

"See, that's the thing." Okoye sighs. "She's not a princess anymore, she's a queen" 

 You knew of Tchallas death, but you had no idea about Queen Ramonda's. "My god, how did I not know about her own mother's death?" You felt like a horrible friend, and wanted to comfort your best friend as well as you could.
