Once everyone in town noticed kids were rapidly dying in crazy ways they became scared and kept their kids inside. IT had power's just not the power's he or the man's son wanted and he didn't know how to use them. Once the man's son was ready to IT he searched for him when he finally found him he made a deal with him that if someone did enough damage to him he would have to go away for 20 year's and a half years.
As soon as IT agreed the man's wife put bag over IT's head and the kid took a knife and stabbed him in the chest and dragged the knife down his entire. When IT tried to run the kid tripped him and continued to stab him. IT could have killed him but he knew if he did that he would be gone forever. So instead of killing the kid he expanded his arm and picked his mom up and threw her like it was nothing. It was his first power he found he had. When the kid saw he slaced IT's head right off. IT wasn't dead but it took awhile for him to heal.
The kid checked to see if his mom was ok because her leg was broken with blood leaking from it. She was ok but couldn't move at all. The kid called the ambulance and told them that a man came and started beating his mom with a metal pole. After he called the ambulance quickly the boy dragged his body in the woods along with his head. He didn't want anyone to see a head separate from its body.
The old man says that was the end of the story. Billy asked if the old man was the boy in the story because he knew a lot about it. The old man told him that it was him. He said after he told the police the truth and they told the whole town that he made a wish and that's why everyone stopped liking him. He said some people didn't hold on to it and that is probably why they didn't know about him. Then the police banned everyone from going to the wishing well. David asked did the police tell the town that the old man was also the reason he was gone for another 20 and half years. He told them that the police didn't tell anyone anything about him doing it; they took all the credit for getting rid of the clown. They couldn't believe that people could be so mean and unfair. They ask the old man if they could just wish the clown away but he said the only way to get rid of a wish is for the person who made the wish to die.
Sam thought that they should just kill the old man then IT would go away. Everyone else disagreed with what Sam had said; they didn't want to kill anyone. Sam made a statement saying that it's better for one person then the whole town. They agreed with her statement but still refused to kill somebody. Billy thought that maybe they could talk to IT with the help of the old man. Everyone agreed and made a plan before going to look for him.The was to split into two groups the old man would be by himself since IT won't kill him. Then try to find him and once they do signal the other by talking to them from the walkie talkie. If one of the groups found IT they would tell him that they had the old man and would kill him if he didn't follow them to the wishing well. If the old man found him he would threaten to kill himself if IT didn't go with him. They were all going to meet up at the wishing well once someone signaled them. They all brought a pocket knife just in case he tries to grab them or hurt them in any way. They were all ready now they had everything they needed to trap IT and talk to him or at least try. They waited to do the plan they wanted to wait a week before they did it so they could be mentally prepared for what might happen.
After the week passed they were scared but ready to be done with this dancing clown. When it was time to put the plan into action Hailey told them she didn't feel right letting Sam come with them because she couldn't walk. They asked Sam if she wanted to come she said she did but everyone else didn't want it either they didn't want her to get anymore then she already is so she agreed to stay home if they keep her updated with the walkie talkies. They all agreed. They had to change the plan a little bit but still had hope that it would work. Instead of it being two groups and the old man by himself it would just be to groups. The groups were Hailey and the old man then David and Billy.
They put Hailey with the old man because they knew it wasn't going to harm the old man so they thought the old man could prevent Hailey from getting hurt or even killed. Then they put Billy and David together because they were both boys and they told everyone they could handle even by themselves if they really needed to. They weren't even scared a little bit they thought they were strong enough to do it on their own. They had very high hopes and were ready to try to get IT to cooperate with them and be done with this once for all or at least until the old man died of natural causes. They told their parents they would stay with Sam a little longer so they could do the plan. Everyone was ready this time they had no worries or problems so the plan went into action.
