freezing to death is never an answer

5. i did so good but now everything is gone because of them.

After Tommys ,family' had finally left Tommy was more than happy about it , he couldnt stay with them any longer in the cafe where one of his safe places was suposse to be. 

,,your family?" Karl asked once they left and Tommy had let out a sigh of relief

,,yea , annoying right?" Tommy chuckled 

,,assholes if you ask me , didnt seem really bad but not to nice aswell.." Karl muttered and Tommy rolled his eyes with a smile 

,,yea yea , could you ask Sapnap to tell Eret i will be late today?" Tommy asked and Karl looked worried to him for a second before new customers came in

,,yea, i will.." Karl answered before taking the customers orders , everyone knew when Tommy is late to his skating practice then something is going on in his head and he comes late un purpose to stay later as everyone to get his emotions out when hes alone. Once Dream went to search for Tommy when he still wasnt there after an hour and when he came back with Tommy they were both crying but no one said what happened.

Later when Tommy came late by thirty minutes to Practice , normal time was 3 pm , Eret imediatly skated over to him while the others watched while continuing to skate. 

,,Tommy where were you!? Sapnap told me you'd be late and you didnt answer any of my calls or messages!" Eret asked and Tommy only sighed

,,sorry Eret, had to do some homework at the park , you know me" Tommy shrugged while he got his skaters out of his backpack next to him

,,Tommy you never come late overwise something is wrong! whats going on? is it your family? what did they do?" Eret asked as Tommy put the skaters on

,,Eret nothing is wrong ok? im doing fine. I just need to clear my mind now so if you would please let me get on the ice once i have my shoes on that'd be nice" Tommy said and finished putting the skates on , Eret sighed and put a hand on his shoulder

,,atleast warm up before doing your choreo yea? I'll tell the others to get done to let you do your choreo and then we'll all practice togheter" Eret said and Tommy nodded.

After Tommy was done with his choreo they had to sit on the benches so that Eret and Puffy could explain what they will do today , some days they would have a long therapy talking round since Puffy was a therapyst and good at it too or they would go out with Eret and look for good costumes for the next comaptition , sometimes they would draw something down to show what they would like to wear and Eret would get a friend of his to make the costumes. Of course they had practice more often then that but in two weeks would be the next competition for some of them so of course today was a costume and talking day. 

,,Alright first things first. Thank you for coming today of course and i will have to ask you to please tell us again if you signed up for the competition in two weeks or not so that Sam will know for sure" Eret said and got out a paper and a pen

,,everyone who did sign up please raise your hand" Eret mumbled as they looked at the names on the paper before they looked who raised their hand. 

,,Dream? alright then but dont stop doing your choreo just because you see George!" Eret chuckled as Dreams face got red and they wrote down that Dream signed up. 

,,Purpled? im more then happy to see your brother Punz finally allowed it again" Eret said and Purpled rolled his eyes

,,even if he didnt i'd still participate because he cant tell me shit" Purpled said making Tubbo and Tommy laugh 

,,yea of course" Eret smiled and looked up at him from the paper for a second before writing his name down and contiuning with the list. 

After Eret had written down Dream , Purpled and Tubbo they were looking over the list again, there were the three of them , a few people from other teams but someones name was missing.

,,Tommy? what about you? didnt you say you wanted to participate?" Eret asked and everyone looked at the blond boy

,,yea i did." Tommy shrugged trying to hide how nervous he is because in fact he did not sign up for it since he knew Wilbur and Techno would be back home. 

,,then why didnt you raise your hand?" Eret asked confused , did they just not see him or what?

,,My name is on the other list , Sam wrote me down just before i walked in here" Tommy explained ,which was a lie of course ,and Eret looked over to where Sam stood with another worker 

,,alright then , i will go to him now while you lot will do something with Puffy , have fun" Eret chuckled and walked over to Sam 

,,alright then" Puffy smiled at them

,,Puffy can i go to the toilet please?" Tommy suddenly asked and Puffy nodded , Tommy left right after she had nodded and made his way to the toilet. He leaned on the wall when thoughts were rushing in his mind. He doesnt know how long he sat there crying but after awhile someone entered the bathroom.

,what if i would fail? what if i dont win again? or-or what if-'

,,Tommy?" , Tommy looked up shocked , Eret was there with a worried look on his face , what were they doing there? 

,,E-eret?.." He mumbled , his voice was raspy and quiet but Eret still heard him and sat down infront of him 

,,Hey toms , mind putting your hands in mine?" Eret asked with a soft smile on their face as they held their hands to Tommy , he slowly let his hair out of his hands and layed his hands in Erets. 

,,Whats on your mind? you were gone for ten minutes Toms" Eret said starting to go over his hands with his thumps so he calmed down more

,,i-im sorry.." Tommy wispered as his voice cracked , he looked to the floor not noticing that Eret stopped what he was doing to slowly pull Tommy to his chest. Tommy was now leaning with his head on Erets chest while crying , Eret said soft words to tommy slowly going through his hair with one of his hands. 

,,what are you sorry for toms? whats going on? the last time i saw you like this was when you talked about your home life..." they asked worried when Tommy had calmed down again

,,I lied , i didnt sign up for the competition.." Tommy admitted , Eret made a small humming noice to let tommy know he understood

,,why? im not mad i just want to know" Eret asked 

,,I wanted to ,i promise! but.. since Wilbur and Techno came home Phil has been home more too and im just scared that they will find out and see me at the competition! they told me they are going there because Wilbur had gotten tickets for all of us and i dont want them to hate me more..." Tommy said taking a shaky breath.

,,Tommy are you scared they wont accept that you're a figure skater?" Eret finally asked after a while of silence 

,,no-yea? maybe.." Tommy sighed and wipped his tears away.

,,im sure they would accept you no matter what and if not then you will always have a place to stay with me or the others" Eret said as Tommy moved away from his chest.

,,promise?"

,,promise."
