"Well if it isn't my daughter and the movie star himself" my dad forced a smile. It was just so awkward. I got off the car and started rushing towards my dad. Him engulfing me into a hug

"How was New York? Hard at work I hope" I playfully rolled my eyes. All he's ever cared about is work work work. He is a very career driven man, probably why he has always taken favour of Leo.

"Marissa!" I yelled out running to my favourite maid. Leo just stood at the doorway watching me run off with my father.

Leo's POV

I watched as Kenna ran off to Marissa in excitement. I loved how happy she was to reunite with her after such a long time. I think Kenna saw her late mom in Marissa so I can understand why they were so close. I stood there in awe. Now that we were actually together Kenna just seemed different... in a good way of course. She seemed a lot more vibrant, she glowed with perfection and that smile...her smile is to die for.

"She seems really happy..." Baz spoke up as we watched Kenna laugh and go on about her life in New York. I looked over at him with a smile planted on my face, only for it to disappear when Baz had this curious frown expression. I bit my lips anxiously. Baz and I always got along, we were close in a sense but never have I gotten so many mixed emotions from him in such a short span of time

"Leo I have to ask...what is going on with you and my daughter" I licked my lips trying to divert my eye contact to anything but his. I cleared my throat

"Well Baz, sir...Kenna and I are together" I watched as he brought his hand to his chin and rubbed it as he thoughtfully gazed at my parked car

"So you two are together? As in your her boyfriend" he flicked his fingers at Kenna then at me. If you could see him now you'd think he has seen a ghost as how much shock he's in

"That would be correct" I smiled awkwardly. At this moment it didn't feel like I was talking to Baz who I've seen pretty much as a father figure majority of my life but instead a complete stranger that I'm meeting for the first time. The silence creeping up on us. So quiet you could hear the crickets hiding in the bushes. It was suddenly interrupt by his laughter. I couldn't help but force a laugh. I was just so confused on what he was laughing at or where he was going with this discussion at that matter

"I'm just playing boy! although I don't want you hurting her, don't think I haven't heard her songs" I let out a sigh of relief. It would've gone to hell if he didn't approve of us being together, heck he probably would have kicked me out.

"I promise Baz that is not my intention, I really do love your daughter, last thing I want to do is hurt her" he put his arm around me and tapped my shoulder. Pulling me through the halls in a very slow pace

"You love her?" I gave him a small smile and nod "I always had an inkling that you two would find your way together, I mean you guys were like cat and dog for a while there but I just knew, her mother was so sure of it" I smiled. It seemed to be that everyone waited for this to happen. I felt deep down I waited all those years for it to happen.

McKennas POV

"You seemed to have quite a journey miss" Marissa smiled at me. At that moment dad and Leo walked in

"So what were you guys talking about"

"Business love, so what's the plan from here? Has Niall gotten you yours or concerts yet? Interviews?" I rolled my eyes then looked over at Leo who only shrugged at my reaction

"Neale dad, it's Neale...I've just got to do a couple more songs so I can come out with an album and I think I've got a few interviews coming up"

"Niall, Neale what's the difference, as long as you're keeping yourself busy. I do know of a few opening roles you could do if you're not already-"

"Dad I'm fine, I've got enough on my plate as it is" I snapped. I've been here for not even an hour and he's already on my back about work. I just can't catch a break. I can't wait to move out in all honesty.

Months and months has flew by now. My music was sky rocketing the charts. I had tours and concerts lined up the next upcoming months so it was a very busy time for me. As for Leo he was set to go to Japan to premiere the titanic so he was busy himself. Which meant we'd have to be doing long distance for quite some time.

"Hello darling" I hear a familiar voice coming from behind me. Leo wrapped his arms around my neck and kissed my cheek as I sat on the couch. I turned around being faced with now a short haired Leo.

"Leo...omg what did you do to your hair" I shrieked, I was so used to his longer bangs that framed his face. He looked somewhat older

"Do you not like it" Leo scrunched his face as he hopped over the couch back and sat next to me

"No you look so good but why did you have to cut your beautiful hair" I said while brushing through his hair

"Eh I needed a change. Plus I'm off to Japan soon so I thought it'd be the right time for a change"

"I think I like it" I smirked. Leo smiled cheekily and pounced on me so he was now pinning me down on the couch

"You think?" He raised his brows up at me

"I know" I giggled. He pecked my forehead and sat up, pulling my legs on top of his.

"Are you ready for your flight tonight?" He questioned. I've been flying back and forth from New York non stop the last couple of months. Due to Neale and my agency being set in the city I've found my self having to live there from time to time. I rolled my eyes

"I'm so tired of travelling back and forth from LA to New York. You'd think I'd live there by now"

"So why don't you?" Leo said curiously. I frowned and bit my lips in thought

"I don't know...I have my dad here, and it gets lonely out there"

"But your 22 now, your dad is barely home because he's to busy filming for his upcoming movies, plus it'd save having to travel back and forth all the time" I slowly nodded

"But then we'll have to do long distance more" I pouted. Leo laughed and caressed my cheek

"Who said I wasn't coming with you" I gave him a questionable look

"It's not like we haven't lived together before, we're also raking in the money at the moment with our jobs... think about it we could buy an apartment just for the two of us" he smiled and winked. I nodded

"We could get an apartment that overlooks the city and we could decorate the house how we want to decorate it and then...and then I could have my own room specifically for my makeup and clothes...oh my god and then a studio-"

"We can do whatever you want" Leo looked at me in awe

"But what about LA don't you have to stay here?"

"No not really, I don't have anything holding me back here except you" he winked

"Ok ok, let's think about it, and if we do decide to move then we'll do it after Japan and my tour"

"Sounds perfect" Leo leaned in and stole a kiss.
