Chapter 9

It was now the next day. I have just curled my hair and applied light makeup. I was now heading out to Leo's car to drive down to the studio for my costume fitting.

"You're all glammed up for a costume fitting" Leo chuckled as he started driving to the location. Leo somehow convinced me to carpool with him this morning. Don't ask me how...he just did ok?

"Well you'll never know who you'll meet dicaprio" I sighed biting my nails. It was a request from my dad to get rid of my fake nails so I had to say goodbye to my long beautiful nails which made me 10x tempted to bite them when anxious

"I don't know why bother the makeup artists are just going to take that all off" he said hovering his hands over his face. How did I not realise it was makeup trial as well?

We pulled up to the car park seeing a group of guys hanging around a car. Leo beeped his horn to grab their attention, startling them to look up. Leo unbuckled his seat belt and prompted to get out of the car, me doing the same not far behind. As we got closer to the group I soon start to see some familiar faces. Some who I would assume is in the film.

"Well if it isn't the man himself" a red head guy spoke up, Leo going in to give him a handshake

"What's up man" Leo said then made his way around to greet each person. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to just run and hide. But if I were to see these people everyday while we're away then I should at least put in the effort in getting to know them. A slight nudge appeared on my side, causing me to shoot my eyes up to the one and only Paul Rudd

"Is this how you're gonna greet me everytime you see me?" I smiled. Remembering the first time we met last week at the table read. I was glad someone is actually pulling me out of this awkward state.

"You here for your costume fitting McKenna?" Paul asked causing me to nod. We both looked at the group of boys who situated themselves ahead of us, watching them as they jumped on each other and mucked around in the parking lot

"Whys Leo here then? He doesn't need to be here for this" him still gazing at the boys, me on the other hand snapping out of my gaze and looking at Paul. Of course he didn't need to be here I said mentally not realising it that I've said it out loud

"Hmm?" Paul replied, i just shook my head. The studio door opened and closed and then I got a sudden feeling of a presence.

"Damn it's hot out here, I sure as hell hope it's not the same in Mexico have you seen what I have to wear?" The voice said

"Well I can't complain, my costumes are pretty much just button up shirts. Although they're those hideous looking Hawaiian looking shirts, I look like I'm a dad going on a summer holiday" Paul said rolling his eyes. They chatted back and forth for a little bit until the dark skinned man turned his attention to me.

"Paul you haven't introduced me to your lady friend" he said winking at me.

Paul laughed and put an arm around me, causing me to blush

"This is the one and only Juliet" he said cheekily

"Aaaah I see, the star of the movie" he said as he grabbed my hand and leaned down to kiss it, Paul playfully hitting him to stop. The guy laughed "I'm Harold Perrineau nice to finally meet you" he said with a smirk. I feel like this guy gets around with the ladies

"Oh your Mercurtio right?" He grinned

"t'is" I smiled softly not knowing what else to say.

"Well I'm Mc-"

"This is McKenna" all of a sudden Leo appeared finishing off my introduction. Paul snatching his hands away from being around me. How odd. I sent a confused look to Leo, him not showing any expression but just eyeing off both Harold and Paul. What's his deal?
