For the past year and a half I've been living alone. Well, with LJ. I named him Little Joker. We've lived in a small apartment in Queens, and I have a job at a mechanic shop. A day job that doesn't pay near enough for my apartment.
The night shift, though? I could quit my day job if I wanted to. But I figured it could help me keep my cover as a poor teen who lives alone and needs a job to help pay bills. I wouldn't say I was living the life, but it was my life. One that I was happy with. Until they came along.
Then I was happier.
