palkia: what makes you trust this human?
me: I don't know, I just do.
palkia: well, what's so great about him that we have to meet him.
me: that's just it, he's just an average human, he just so invested in his studies that I find him interesting. so I thought I could bring you two to meet him, he's very kind.
Arceus: your fondness for this one human is interesting as well, you've never shown any interest like this to any other human before, why the sudden change of mind?
me: it just feels like . . . like I can talk to him about anything, and that he'd just be there and understand, and not ask to many questions.
palkia: well, we'll see how {warm and cuddly} this human really is.
