Sidharth smiled looking at Shehnaaz and she returned him one. Holding his hand, she slid the ring into his finger. He had a red blush when he heard the young boys and girls hoot. He then took her hand in his and slid the ring into her finger. The people surrounding them clapped as he kissed her hand gently before they fed sweet to each other followed by a warm hug.

Since the time was less for preparation, they both performed the same dance which Shehnaaz had choreographed years back on their sangeet. This time their dance was filled with love and compassion.

Shehnaaz's hand was now being filled with Mehendi design by the artist.

"Wasn't he engaged to her earlier?", Asked a lady to another standing near Shehnaaz.

"Yes, I remember attending their engagement ceremony 2 years back.", Said another lady.

Shehnaaz saw Kaamini standing with Sidharth in the distance. Her insides were set on fire instantly.

"I wonder what happened?", Says the first woman.

"Bechaari Kaamini.. I feel bad for her.. uski kya galati thi?", Said a lady.

"Mujhe toh iss ladki ko dekh ke hairaani hota hai.. yeh kaise maan gayi usse shaadi karne ko? Usko pata nahi kya ki woh pehle se engaged tha?", Said a lady.

"Huh! Ameer logon ke chonchle.. unko kya padi kisi ki emotions ki..", said the other lady.

"Namaste Aunty ji..", Shehnaaz greeted the two ladies walking close to them. The two ladies nervously looked at her as they hadn't seen her.

"Na.. namaste.. ", The ladies fumbled.

"Kya hua Shehnaaz beta? Kuch chahiye kya? Mehendi beech mein choddke kyu aayi?", Asked Lakshmi walking close to her.

"Nahi Maa.. Mujhe inn logon se kuch puchna tha..", said Shehnaaz.

"Kya puchna tha?", Lakshmi asked curiously.

"Ha.. haan?", The gossiping aunties fumble in unison.

"Woh mujhe puchna tha ki khaane mein nimbu namak mirch masala sab theek hai na?", Shehnaaz asked looking at their plates in hand.

"Haan.. kyu?", Asked the lady.

"Ohh!! Mujhe laga kam hoga kyuki aap "shayad", "lagta hai", aise befaaltu ke baaton ka chaska lete huye khaana khaa rahi thi na.", Said Shehnaaz.

The gossiping ladies look at Lakshmi who was still perplexed.

"Yeh.. yeh..yeh aise kaise baat kar rahi ho?", Said one making courage.

"H..Haan.. aur nahi toh kya? Lakshmi..hum kya yaha zaleel hone aaye hai?", Asked other aunty with a frown.

"Arey nahi aunty ji.. aap zaleel hone kaha? Aap toh auron ko zaleel karne aaye ho na?", Asked Shehnaaz sarcastically.

"Kya matlab?", Asked Lakshmi..

"Yeh log kehti hai ki aapne aur Sidharth ne mujh ameerzaadi ko phasaaya hai.. aur inko Kaamini ka soch ke bahut dukh ho raha hai", glared Shehnaaz at the two ladies.
