A puppet corpse, laying in a small pile of rock and debris. Red hair ruffling through the heavy wind, sharp silver swords piercing his unalive body, rendering his heart useless and rock hard skin motionless. Sunlight falling from the hole in the cave pouring over his dead body, highlighting his every feature

The sight engraves itself into my head, slowly blurring into blobs of color as cold tears flow down my cheeks. A bitter tingle rings in my nose, eyebrows furrowed in depressing pain

Small whimpers escape my swollen throat, gradually evolving to painful screams of anger, depression, and incomprehension, "N-No.. Sasori!"

My body weight overwhelms me, falling to my unsteady knees and crying, sobbing at the sight

Strong winds blow, long blonde locks block my view only to be pushed away as I crawl weakly toward his corpse. His blood still warm splattered across the rocks and polished blade, my arms wrap around his body, the texture of his wooden skin comforts me, his head laying lightly upon my shoulder sends me into an ignorant bliss

Then I hear a small breath, causing me to widen my eyes

"Sasori!? Are you s-still alive..?!", I question in a stage of denial

A long pause of silence arises, my breathing heavy as I stare at him in tears

His mouth moves slowly, "I'm... sorry..... I-I can.. t.. be with y-...you.. for much.. l-longer... Dei...."

His muffled breaths cause my heart to skip a beat, his unsteady voice alarming yet comforting.
I'm scared to move.. I feel as if the slightest movement will finish him off, for good... No! I need him! I can't... I can't live without him!

"Don't talk! You're only shortening your life, love! P-Please.. Just.. stay with me as long as possible.." I plea, my face wrinkling in pain as I hold him bitterly and tighten my grip as if to hold his soul in his wooden body

He shivers slightly, "No.. Please just... be safe.... I-In my left pocket.. i-it was for you.."

His unsteady breathes cease, his last words echo through my mind as his body becomes heavier and his eyes lose their glimmer

My small droplets intensify, turning to powerful waterfalls gliding down my irritated cheeks. I hold him tighter than ever before, his wooden skin frozen and once fresh and hot blood now cold and staining in the rocks

My shivering hands reach for his left pocket, touching a smooth cube. I pull it out and gaze upon a plain black box with a small note on the top reading, 'to Dei, I love you'. More droplets tickle my eyes as they examine his handwriting, how he always writes his y's backwards and his childish font

I pick at the top, eventually opening the box and viewing a silver ring decorated in small and large diamonds. At that moment, my waterfalls turn to rivers. My shaking fingers grip the ring tightly and slowly slide it down my left hands' ring finger

Then at the bottom of the box in gorgeous font asks, 'Will you marry me?'

I'm left flabbergasted, gazing upon the ring perfectly wrapped around my finger, the only thing I do is whisper to myself, "Yes.."

Then his wooden head tilts slightly, falling off it's puppet neck and rolling to the nearby blood stained pebbles. His wooden body follows, sliding away from my loosened grip

My depression turns to a churning anger in my stomach, my left arm rubbing the tears away from my red and irritated cheeks. As I stand, I spot strands of pink locks in the near distance. Angerly stomping toward the strands, I pick them up, and squeeze them into my fist

"I'll kill her.. I'll kill her and the old woman! I won't let them get away with this!", I vow to myself, my polished yet chipped nails digging into my own skin bitterly

I hear footsteps behind me, "Truly unfortunate, isn't it, Deidara?"

My body turns to the left, while my head faces the direction of the voice, my blonde locks moving swiftly through the cold winds and I fiddle with the ring once I see.. Him

"What are you doing ..here?" I question, attempting but ultimately failing to hide the depression and anger in my tone

A tall blue skinned figure bends down beside my deceased lovers' corpse, and a muscled black-haired male stands behind him. One of the men I hate the most in this world... Itachi Uchiha

"We heard that explosions had been seen in this area, so we thought me might check it out. Y'know, he was gonna die anyways, no need to obsess over it"

These inconsiderate words infuriate me, sending me into a deeper rage than I've ever been in before

My eyebrows furrow in anger, "Why don't you stay out of it!? You don't... You don't understand how it feels!"

My voice is raspy and full of cracks, eyes crusty and swollen from crying. The black box held in my left hand dripping in my sweat

"Kisame, that's enough, leave him to mourn.. Sasori was his boyfriend after all, I would know, losing a lover is a painful experience.." Itachi intrudes, a tone of annoyance and a glare saying 'shut up'

My teeth grind, half of me thankful for his hushing and the other infuriated from hearing his voice

Kisame continues, "My apologizes, we came to inform you of your new partner. You must go to the hidden rain, that's where you'll meet this new companion"

No.. I don't want to replace him!

"Wait.. No! I-I don't want someone new..!!" I protest strongly

"Sorry Deidara, but there's nothing we can do to get him back.. I heard the new guys name from konan, it's Tobi.."
