"Or maybe a message." Dean says. He picks the paper up, it having blood on the back. He holds the paper out, Sam taking it. "Look familiar?" Natalie leans over to look.

"Three letters, six digits. The location and combination of a post office box. It's a mail drop." Sam says.

"Just like dad does it."

They're sitting in the Impala, Natalie and Ophelia in the backseat and Libby is on Sam's lap. Dean is holding the envelope that they got out of the post office box that Elkins had mentioned.

"'J.W.' You think? John Winchester?" Sam asks.

"Do we know any other J.W.'s?" Natalie questions.

"Well, he might, smartass." Sam shrugs.

"And given our lives, the chances of that would be what?" Natalie questions.

"Should we open it?" Dean asks.

Before the twins can answer, there's a knock on Dean's window making them all jump. Libby shrieks, leaning into her dad who tightly wraps his arms around her. Ophelia also shrieks, leaning into Natalie.

Dean raises his right hand in a fist as a form of protection. They look out the window and see John.

"Dad?" Dean asks.

"Fuck." Natalie whispers as John opens the back door and gets in. Ophelia quietly whines and Natalie hauls the girl to the other side so Natalie is between her father and niece. Natalie scoots over a little, getting whatever space she can between her and John.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" Sam asks, his grip on Libby lessening, but he still keeps his arms around her.

"I read the news about Daniel, I got here as fast as I could. I saw you at his place." John says.

"Why didn't you come in, dad?" Sam asks.

"You know why. Because I had to make sure you weren't followed. By anyone... or anything." John says.

"Yeah, I'm sure that's why." Natalie scoffs.

"Nice job of covering your tracks, by the way." John says, sending Natalie a stern glance for the comment.

"Yeah, well, we learned from the best." Dean says.

"Bobby." Natalie states. John glares at her and Natalie gives him a smile just to piss him off more.

"Wait, you came all the way out here for this Elkins guy?" Sam asks.

"Yeah. He was... he was a good man. He taught me a hell of a lot about hunting." John says.

"But you go nowhere for your children. Good to know." Natalie says and John glares at her again. None of them miss how his hand curls up into a fist.

"Well, you never mentioned him to us." Sam says, getting John's attention away from Natalie.

"We had a... we had kind of a falling out." John informs.

"Shocker." Natalie mutters under her breath, but the others obviously hear her.

"I hadn't seen him in years." John says, finally looking away from the young woman. "I should look at that." He motions to the letter and Dean hands it to him. John opens it, unfolding the letter. ""If you're reading this, I'm already dead."" He reads. "That son of a bitch."

"What is it?" Dean asks.

"He had it the whole time." John states.

"Dad, what?" Sam asks.
