" I'm fine...." I shook my head. " Demeria listen, I want to be in his life and I want to be in yours I know how it feel to not have a dad in your life and I don't want that for him. I want him to have the life you and me never had" he said grabbing my hands
"Okay" I said grabbing his hands and pulling him into a kiss. We started kissing but Jason started crying
"He wanna be picked up desperately the time we start kissing to cry" Kentrell jogged out the room
"Fix him a bottle mamas" kentrell walked into the room with Desean in his hands.
I got up and went to go fix him a bottle while Kentrell laid him on the bed and changed his pamper
The whole time we was at the hospital I was teaching him how to change a baby's diaper the first time we did it he passed out the second time he caught on
" you done changing him?" I asked kentrell as I walked in with his bottle. I grabbed him Out Kentrell's arms and started feeding him
" damn he is hungry as hell" imani said walking into the room with everyone trailing behind her. " not too much on my baby" I giggled trying my best to get on the bed
" let me feed my nephew" Teelee came around the bed sitting down right next to me. "Nah let me hold him first" kd said
" boy you passed out yesterday when she showed you him on FaceTime so your last" Teelee refused. I gently placed Desean in her arms as I held the bottle in his mouth
that boy starts fussing when he don't get to eat
" he look just like kentrell" Ben said looking over teelee shoulder. " yo hot ass breath move" she pushed him off her

" demeria I need to tell you something" teelee said biting on her nails like she was stressing about something. " what is it" I squinted my eyeballs
" aye boys let's go play the game and let the females talk!" Kentrell snapped his fingers. "quit snapping your fingers at us we ain't your slaves" Three smacked his lips walking out the room
" what happened?" I asked. "ummmm I don't know how to tell you this" she huffed pacing around the room
" just say it damn" imani got mad . " Forreal it can't be that bad" i snickered
" Devon passed away" she blurted out. "WHAT?!" I jumped up from the bed. "He passed away two days ago , he was shot and killed" she said aggressively biting on her nails
" you lying??" I held my chest as my vision started to get blurry. " I'm serious, nene texted me off a unknown number! He died the day you gave birth" she said and my heart dropped
" no no no no" I shook my head as tears aggressively ran down my face. "NO BRO NO" I shouted grabbing my phone to call my mom
" hello demeria?" She answered. "mommy is it true" I sniffed. " true about what?" she asked. "Devon passing?" I wiped my face
" yes, he passed away" she sighed. " BROOO NOOOOOOOO" I fell to my knees
" what the fuck y'all do to her yo?" Kentrell busted into the room. " Devon passed away" Imani said
" you serious?" kentrell asked and everybody nodded there heads. " come here man" he sat down next to me as he pulled me into his chest
" it's can't be" I sobbed. " I'm always here for you demeria" he said . " demi is gonna grow up without a father kentrell" I cried
" if you asking me it's never that serious but it's just news breaking" imani said. "Imani shut up" I got mad
" what its true" she threw her hands up in defense. "Imani shut the fuck up bro" I threw a candle at her. "Devon passed away and demi is 2 and I was two years old when dad passed away do you hear yourself" i mugged her
" demi is gonna grow up without her father, how am I going to tell her that he passed away! do you think before you say stuff?" I fused getting up from the ground
" sorry and leave dad out of it" she pouted. "no because....oh my god everybody just leave me alone" I walked out the room heading to the guest bathroom
" demeria wait!" kentrell ran down the hall but I quickly shut and locked the door
" god why....." I slid down the wall balling my eyes out. " why god why...." I said
" WHY WHY WHY WHY!!!!!" I punched the wall. "DEMERIA STOP!" Kentrell yelled fidgeting with the door trying to get in
" bro stop you finna hurt yourself" he busted into the bathroom pulling me into his chest. "Kentrell why.....why?" I sobbed harder
" it's gonna be okay demeria, don't hurt yourself" he kissed my forehead rubbing my back. "It's not gonna be okay" i shook my head
