"Oh, you're awake. We didn't expect that. I'll go call the doctor, in the meantime please remain here." Spoke a light make voice.
It's not like I have a choice Mr. mermaid. What the fuck am I supposed to do here anyways. Wait.
Where's Hyuka? Is he hurt, oh my God! I need to get out of here.
Third P.O.V.
Soobin lifted his arm in an attempt to get up from the bed. His struggles met no match with the chains that tied him to the bed. With a few grunts and groans, he set himself free. But alas it was too late. The doctor and the male watching him were here. "Oh, I see you've gotten out of... You've chained" The male stretched the last word. "Yes, no shit Sherlock." Soobin deadpanned, "Let Hyuka go, he didn't hurt me. Nor did he even try to actually!" Soobin was desperate they let him go.
"Doctor I believe this one needs a good treatment, one to get him out of this... Trance." "Alright, if that's what you wish." The doctor answered back. Soobin soon was going to be put under sedation with only worry for the male that helped him.
"Fuck off bitches! He's mine!" A familiar voice rang through the room. It was kai! Soobin being the easily startled kind flinched and started whining that he got scared by a little thing.
"Kai how in the" running towards the doctor Kai grabbed the sedate and stabbed it in the doctor's neck making him unconscious. "WHAT THE FUCK KAI???!!!!" "AHHHHHHH" Kai was now screaming like a dolphin as a shimmery purple emerged from the wound Kai caused. Kai was panicking because he knew what the substance was and Soobin, he was beyond confused. Until he put two and two together and both continued screaming. Until Soobin slapped the living shit out of Kai to get him to get together.
"You moron! We've got to get out of here, I can't move my tail it's tied." Heuning Kai nodded and removed the blanket covering Soobins tail and started to untie his tail until he was free to move.
"Alright, we've got to leave! They'll tie you up again!" Soobin said, "okay but we need food," "we'll take it from the kitchens." Soobin finalized. "Oh. Alright. If you say so." Heuning was a bit skeptical but he believed they could do it.
Upon exiting the room Heuning realized that they both were weapons and assumed that neither of them was skilled in martial arts. Soon seeing that he held Soobin back behind the large column in the hallway."Kai? What's-" He was cut off, "Shut. There's someone here." Kai shut Soobin. "Why yes, his majesty is in great debt to you. You saved that boy as well! The prince's life was endangered." Said a deep velvet voice. He was speaking calmly thanking the recipient.
"Kai, could that be?" "That bastard! He lied?! That's a violation!" Heuning was enraged. As if he was stomping his 'feet' he swam over furiously, well, he was going to swim there. That is if Soobin didn't stop him. "Moron! We have to see who that is! We need to see if they have anything of use and/or if we can sneak past them!" Soobin hissed. " I suppose you'd be right." Kai's anger seemed to flush.
Soobin tilted his head ever so slightly. Seeing the gorgeous man talking to the guard that brought them to the castle. He looked as if he blushing, or had a bad fever. Well, who wouldn't blush a dark red? This man was beautiful, his characteristics all soft but well-defined. He doesn't scream masculine or feminine but neutral. His dark brown mullet and bangs float gloriously around the water. "Yes, Sir Choi, I'll be on my way. I'll see you when you visit next." Said the guard ever so kindly. His demeanor changed around the man. It was magical.
"Let's go! This is our chance, let's talk to this 'Sir' of his." Soobins behavior scared the living daylight in Heuning. He'd met the man a few days ago. So in his opinion, it was appropriate to be scared. Following Soobin they reached the end of the hall.
"Oh. And who must you be? I know you might be the spirit mermaid they 'caught' you. You. Y-you, you're tail. It's different. My God, never have I ever!" 'Beomgyu was exhilarated. "You both shall come with me this instant! I insist on it! Please, follow me!" The man explained a bit too excited. Though he still seemed to dislike Kai.
He shrugged it off and followed the man, so much for their escape.
Exciting with ease they both followed Beomgyu to the carriage, or what they thought was a carriage. It was a piece of a ship. It had beautiful carvings, and painting in gold, silver, and a shimmery elegant pink. It was being led by some swordfish. The entire thing looked a bit too fancy. "Well then, gentlemen. Hope on aboard," He said with a welcoming smile, lending out his hand. Grasping the hand sticking out of the side. Soobin pulled himself in and helped Heuning get in as well.
It was awkwardly silenced in the cart. Soobin being too shy and intimidated, Heuning and Beomgyu have death stares as they sat before each other. "So, where are we going?" Soobin peeped. " To the Kingdom of Pareidolia," Beomgyu was cut off, " Oh my God! Sir Choi! I apologize for my rude behavior, if you please, accept my apologies!" Heunign rushed. Beomgyu sat baffled. Never in his life had he seen a spirit mermaid apologize, willingly that is.
"Did, did you just apologize?" Beomgyu paused. "Are you okay Sir?" Soobin asked, " And why are you asking? Shouldn't everyone apologize for being rude or disrespectful?". "Why of course, but I've never seen a spirit mermaid apologize," Beomgyu said. "So I've heard," Answered back Soobin.
"You aren't kidnapping us... Are you?" Asked Kai, both Soobin and Beomgyu stared at the latter. "Are you fucking for real Hyuka?" Soobin looked at him, "He just fucking saved us. And of all questions you ask, you say, 'You aren't kidnapping us. Are you?' Fucking dumbass." Beomgyu snickered at their interaction. Hyuka remained seated as he pouted, "Hey, I never got your names-" Beomgyu was cut off. "Oh shit, well in, I'm Soobin, nice to meet you-" "Beomgyu" he replied. "Right then, my name is Heuning Kai!" Enthusiasm filled his voice.
A few entertaining hours had passed, and Beomgyu saw that both Soobin and Kai were dead asleep. 'Must've not gotten enough sleep in the castle.' He thought. Beomgyu couldn't help but regret what he had done. "Forgive me Poseidon, I have sinned," Beomgyu spoke while playing with Soobins hair.
A few more minutes had passed. Beomgyu was now waking up Soobin with a shake. "Get up! Soobin, Kai! Get up!" He slapped them with his tail.
They began to make their way into the town center where the shops were bursting with people waving at Beomgyu with the most respect.
As they approached a building, it was spiraling upwards, and at each curve up it had a window below. A mermaid could be seen swimming out and in through the gaps.
A luscious garden stood below the carriage as it swam toward the entrance.
"Gentlemen, welcome, to the Castle of Pareidolia,"
