a large mahogany canopy bed was there, a green and white comforter covered the bed. white and green pillows were there too. a mahogany bedside table was there. facing my bed was another T.v slightly smaller than the one in the family room. a desk was there too. I gasped in shock as I saw that there was no wall on the left side of the room, there was only a large window, the same as the one in new york, I also saw city lights but not as much as new york. when I looked further there were a lot of things to look at. i wandered in my room a bit, discovering a large walk in closet. and i just stayed in my room, not bothering to draw the curtains. not bothering to look at the rest of the house. i just sat there looking at the view and a thought occured to me.
Its all like a fairy tail. but my life is hardly one. I don't even have a Once upon a time.
and on cue, my mom and dad entered the room.
"Hello hun. how do you like you're new room?" my father asked.
my eyes filled with tears and i just hugged them both.
my mother laughed and said, "We'll take that as a yes."
we just stood there and hugged each other. we rarely have time for each other, except the time we had in new york.
"how did you pay for all this? I mean.. it's so.. beautiful.. too good to be true." i said as i pulled away.
"It's installment. if we payed for all of it at once, We could have lost every penny we have. even our life savings." my father said.
"Thank you. thank you for everything. " i said.
"Anything for our little girl." my mother said.
i smiled at them. "I'm not a little girl anymore. and it's sounds like you're spoiling me."
"kinda. so how do you like the secret door?" my mom asked.
"what secret door?" i looked at them confused and my father just laughed.
"Dear, It's a secret door. how do you expect her to find it?" he said.
he walked over to the wall and looked for something, he pushed the wall with his fingertips and a small square appeared. he pushed it up, revealing a small keypad. he punched in my birthday and something clicked. and a door appeared, no knob, it just opened.
"It's kinda like a private study." My mother explained.
"but I'm not the bookworm type." I pointed out.
my father just smiled at me. "We know." he entered the small room and beckoned us to follow him. he went up a small staircase and opened a latch on the roof. he opened him and wind entered the small room. he went up and we followed.
"Oh my friggin Gosh!!!" i squealed and twisted around like a little girl.
"I feel like I'm on top of the world!!!" i screamed.
the view was even better here than at my room, there was a railing and a chimney on the far side. i let the wind whip my faice and blow my hair everywhere. i looked down to see the pool and a small terrace where my room is. huh. I didn't notice that. i thanked my parents once more and we went back to my room. Wanting to enjoy the view more, i drew the curtain further and revealed a glass door. i pulled it open and a terrace was there, a chair and a small table. it looked all surreal. i just stared there. and then something surprised me, the sky turned a bit pink and orange and realized it was sunset. it was beautiful. breathtaking.
i wish I could paint. You know, like in the movies or books, the character would paint the beautiful scenery.
i decided to just save up and go to painting classes. I won't ask my parents for that. I'll save up myself, since i have a ridiculously large allowance, I'll just cut off unnecessary things. the money comes from them yeah, but I dont have to ask for More. I won's ask for more. the've already done too much.
