Former (re-do)

-4- Sleep Deprived -4-

Getting inside the garage, it was still cold but not as much as when we were in the open, blatantly exposed to the harsh wind. Miss Lilac lead us further to the back where camping supplies were laying. There, were 3 air mattresses which we all grabbed, walking our way back out the garage door and into the freezing wind again.

Ushering us back inside, we all sighed in relief as the warmth of the fire surrounded us once again. 

"Come help me move the sofa backwards and then we can set the beds up." Miss Lilac made a plan for us all to follow in order to get what needed to be done fast. We all followed suit with a shake of our heads and began moving and pumping the mattresses to life. There was a problem though. There were only 3 mattresses, but 8 of us. 2 of which were double beds, and one was a single.

"Right, and how do we suppose we are all going to fit on those...?" Athena brought up the obvious, a thought we were all thinking.

"I do have one more actual bed mattress but it's also only a single..." Miss Lilac butted in announcing there was another savour to this squashed situation.
"Come help me bring it?"
Kai and Kaia agreed and followed her down into one of the bedrooms, not long after, coming out with the mattress in hand. 

"Okay, so with the beds at the moment we can bed 6" I stated with my quick calculation of the amount of bed space. We all stood around the beds wondering what the best move was.

"I'm not sleeping with either of you. I get my own." Kai stated, jumping onto one of the single beds in the corner, closest to the fire. We all glared at him.

"What, it's fair is it not..? I'm the only boy." 
I mean he had a point. We all dropped it and looked back at our situation.

"I can sleep on the sofa, it's big enough and allows more room on the beds," Talyn spoke up, moving her bag over to the sofa which wasn't that far away.

The rest of us looked at each other before getting an idea. 
"Seen as there are only one single and 2 doubles left, how about 3 sleep on the bigger one, 2 on the smaller one, and one on the single..?" Zara spoke, pointing to each bed as she spoke her idea. We all looked at one another before agreeing to this outcome, it was the only good one at the current moment either way.

HONEY'S POV

It was a good layout now that we were all settled down into our respective beds. We all fit nicely considering the fact that there were 3 of us in one bed. 

Everyone was oddly quiet. We were all together in this nice warm house yet no one spoke a word. Almost like everyone was so stuck In their thoughts and own worlds that words didn't seem to exist at the current moment. We stayed like that for who knows how long. No one was asleep, we all just lay there together in the warmth and silence, listening to the howling wind outside the house, and the occasional weird sounds that made some of us jump slightly in our beds.

"Good night everyone," Kaia spoke in a calm voice. She was the one to break the silence and I honestly felt glad for it. 

One after the other, everyone began saying goodnight to each other and rolling over in their beds to get comfortable. I lay there. Still like I was before just listening to my surroundings and the quiet breathing of Zara who lay beside me asleep. I sat up in my spot and looked over, AJ was there sound asleep as well.
'It seems nothing going on right now is affecting them...'
I looked around the room, it was still illuminated by the fire that was still going, keeping the room toasty warm. I sighed, lay back down in my bed and got comfortable. Though that night sleep didn't come to me and I found myself laying there, wide-eyed as the night drifted away with sounds and all that I became was a sleep-deprived girl who would grow to regret that in the morning.

Hi, yes I am aware that this chapter only had one person's POV. I think I am going to be doing this more in the future to make it less confusing for me mainly, as I am the one writing it and having many POVs in one chapter does get quite confusing for me.

I will be trying to make each chapter's POV a different person, but some will repeat solely for the story line.
