A tear in the ocean

"Ladies and gentlemen thank you so much for today. Thank you for coming together and joining hands with the euphoria foundation. The music and the party will be beginning shortly."

"Taehyung, over here"

A small-statured man with cat-like eyes and a gummy smile beckoned the man with the announcement closer to a group of four people.

"Yoongi hyung, today went well right " tae replied with the same enthusiasm
"Today went better than we ever expected, have you checked with the band performing today, there won't be any issues right"

"No, hobi hyung there won't be any problem but have you guys seen jimin, I am searching for him," he asked with a grave and concerned face, voice laced with worry and sadness.

"You know him tae, just give him a little bit of time, events like these are very difficult for him especially the last speech, hopefully, today there won't be any ridiculous questions asked . " yoongi sighed angrily as he reminisced the times his little brother had to endure pain because of these mindless reporters who have lacked the most basic humanity in them.

The grim atmosphere and sombre faces have become a constant presence in their life. The only thing that had kept them going is this foundation that helped them and the recipients immensely. They hoped for the spring to come once again, they hoped for the winter to end, they hoped and hoped until when they too didn't know.

"Namjoon hyung, about the surprise, do you think it will be beneficial," tae asked.
"I don't know buddy, I don't know but I hope jimin won't take it as anything other than what the surprise suggests". Namjoon patted tae as they all sat waiting for jimin.

 

"You know right coming here before all the events won't make you feel any better" a soft voice broke the tranquillity of the ambience.

The soft breeze caressed him ever so lightly touching him gently as if assuring him, giving him the strength to face the World happily and together.

"You are wrong jin hyung it helps me, it helps me a lot. " jimin smiled a last serene smile as he stood up.

"Let's go hyung they are waiting for us " he looked back to the sea one last time as he walked away just like he does it every time. He doesn't want to go, he wants to stay at the beach every day if he could watch the sunrise and the sunset if he could just lay there under the stars with the gentle breeze embracing him in a protective cocoon if he could, he would but not today, he has work, a life to live and until then he would come back and until the has nothing to give to the world then only he will reside here permanently.
"You know jimin, I have never seen someone so strong and brave as you. You make me proud, you make hyung proud" jin clasped jimins hand, as the need to portray his emotions overwhelmed him.

"Thank you hyung sincerely thank you"jimin laid his head on his hyungs shoulder as the car moved towards his destination.

"There they are " tae jumped and ran towards jimin and jin as he saw them entering the venue.

"Jimin thank God I... I thought" he hugged his friend tightly
"I will come tae, I will always come" jimin patted taes back as he smiled slightly at the sight of all his friends. They are his pillars, his family.
