Everyone drove to Goa the next day. While the Malhotra's, Nandini's chachu & siblings started ahead in a big bus that they rented. Manik & Nandini decided to go with Cabir & their friends in the second bus which was slightly smaller than the other one.
Manik was driving with Nandini sitting beside him and the others sat behind. Just 5 minutes after they started driving a black cat came infront of them.
"MANIK!" Nandini shouted. Manik hit the breaks and the cat crossed over to the otherside. Everyone sighed in relief, except Nandini.
"Hey...relax. Kuch nahi hua. The cat is safe." Manik assured Nandini.
"Nahi..woh....billi kali thi." Nandini mumbled.
"Sachi? Mujhe laaga gulabi hai, dammit yaar, I think I need glasses." Cabir joked. Everyone else laughed but Nandini still looked worried. Manik shot a look to Cabir as if saying 'Shutup' and then cupped Nandini's face lovingly.
"Kya hua Nandini? Pareshan kyun ho?"
"Manik...kaali billi ka raasta kaatna abshagun hota hai. Kuch...kuch galat hoga." Nandini said.
"Nandini kuch galat nahi hoga. Hum saath hai na? Toh phir? Aur vaise bhi...tum kabse inn sab mein manne laage? Yeh sab andhvishwas ki baatein hai...aur kuch nahi." Manik consoled her.
"Haan Nandini...aur woh billi toh Mrs Bajaj ki hai na? Tumhari neighbour?" Aliya added. "She's an outdoor cat toh aisehi ghumti rehti hai...isme itni tension lene ki koi baat nahi hai."
"Yeah...cheerup Nandini. Hum masti karne jaa rahe hai na? So lets enjoy!" Dhruv replied. Nandini wasnt convinced but she didnt want to ruin the trip so she smiled and nodded.
"Chalo..." Manik started to drive again.
"Guys yaar...kuch gaana vaana bajao. Rasta lamba hai..." Cabir commented. Manik turned on the radio and a song started.
As the song started, Manik recognized it and started singing along.

By the end of the song, Nandini forgot all about the black cat and was enjoying with everyone. Finally the reached the resort in Goa where they were staying. As everyone got off the bus, Manik grabbed Nandini and pulled her onto his lap.
"Manik...kya kar rahe ho?"
"Kya? Itna lamba raasta drive karke aaya hoon...reward nahi doge?" Manik asked.
"Kaisa reward?"
"Kiss wala!" Manik leaned in to kiss her but at that moment Cabir came back in.
"Oye Romeo! Bahar sab check in karne ke liye intezaar kar raha hai. Yeh sab baad mein kar lena." Cabir said. Manik glared at him.
"Haan chalo." Nandini stood up and got off the bus.
"Kabab mein haddi." Manik mumbled as he walked past Cabir.
