You guys managed to use enough power to get yourself...where the fuck...it's snow...did they time travel to the fucking ice age!? Five holds you close trying to use his body warmth to keep you warm
"Oh, brilliant idea, Lila. Welcome to the ice age" Five shouts over the snow storm as you hug onto him tightly. Lila wasn't paying attention though as she was smiling at some rundown building with snow all over it.
"Shut up and just look" Lila raises her voice also over the snow storm with a cocky smile. Five turns around to spot the building. He kept one hand holding the briefcase and the other holding you
"The commission" Five whispers loud enough for us to hear. You turn your head to look at the building with a raised eyebrow
"Thats the commission?" You question unamused
"Was" is all Lila says before walking off to the building. You get out of Fives grip and follow in after her, Five trails on behind you with one hand in his pocket and the other still holding the briefcase
"Shit" you hear Five mutter but you're to busy shivering your ass off to care for his concerns. Plus you're still a little bit scared of the manchild. You guys make it into the building you cross your arms trying to warm yourself up but its no use as you the temperature was to much and your body doesn't do well in too cold or too hot weather.
"Holy shit. I was just here. How long was I bloody gone?" Lila questions mainly to herself as she looks at the commission in ruins
"It seems the grandfather paradox is affecting everything. Even places out of time" Five explains placing down the briefcase and rubbing the wrist he was holding it with
"Is that possible?" Lila asks Five amazed
"Clearly it is" You mutter looking around and kicking pieces of walls and ceilings that had fallen onto the floor
"I stopped tracking what was possible a long time ago" Five mumbles out with a fed up expression as he continues to rub his wrist. Lila starts to walk ahead as you remain in the same position. Five picks up the briefcase again but before he could take another step he drops the briefcase wrapping both arms around your waist and lifting you up off your feet then stumbling back as the roof crashed down instantly. Lila jumped back before she could get hit and you nodded to thank Five who was checking you for any injuries still keeping his hands wrapped around you
"Shit..." you mutter out looking at the floor
"We better get moving. We'll take the infinite switchboard" Five states picking up the briefcase again and holding your hand with his free one then starts walking up the stairs with you
"And i'll check Herb's office. Little cockroach would survive anything" Lila says with a neutral expression
"I want to go off alone" You whine yanking your hand away from Fives. Lila looks at you amused and Five rolls his eyes
"You don't know this place, plus you're a shivering mess that almost got crushed by the ceiling" Five raises his voice grabbing your hand again this time with a tighter grip and you just roll your eyes
"It'll be quicker though..." you try convince him
"No" He says sternly and you know you aren't going to get your way so you gave up
