chapter 7

kats pov —

i was trying to force feed chris my hawaiian pizza because he says he doesn't like pineapple on pizza but i bet he's never even tried it

"kat no pineapple is feral!"

"it's not you have to try it"

he gives up and let's me force feed him but in the process he gets some of the pizza toppings on his shirt

"ugh look what you did kat!"

"suck it up chrissy, but to the real question, how's the pizza"

"omg why is it actually good" he says surprised

"hah! see i told you it was good" i say definitely

"well i gotta take a shower from the mess you made" he says

"ok follow me" i say grabbing his hand and trailing him behind me

chris pov —-

kat was holding onto my hand as i followed behind her as she leads me to the shower

"it's in my room through that door let me know if you need anything" she says

"ok thanks kat" i say

i went in the room and closed the door, i turned on the water and while i was waiting for it to get warm i look around the room seeing her things placed neatly on the counter that she sat on last night.

i get undressed and get into the shower wetting my hair and using her shampoo

"oh shit" i mumble, i don't have a towel

i finish up my shower and step onto the bath matt and i knocked on the door

"uhm kat?"

"yeah" i hear her say back

"i need a towel."

"ohh i'm so sorry i totally forgot i'll grab you one now" she says

i hear her footsteps out of the room and come back in again

i open the door slightly and stick my hand out gesturing for me to grab the towel

as she puts it in my hand i say thank you and close the door.

and it wasn't till then when i realise i didn't have a spare shirt to change into

i get changed into my plaid pants and open the door without a shirt on

"hey chr-" she started but as she turned around to face me she was speechless

"sorry i um don't have a shirt to change onto" i say

"oh- um no don't worry about it, i think i've got one of your hoodies you can use" she says

"thank you" i say as she turns around and goes into her closet grabbing one of my hoodies i forgot i owned she had it for so long

"here" she says coming close to me to pass it to
me out bodies inches apart

i grab it and put it on, it smelt like her. i love how she smells

she goes to lay on her bed and hops under the cover and i follow her

there's a tv infront of her bed a she turns it on

"what do you want to watch" she asks

"whatever you want, i don't mind" i say kindly

"ok we're gonna watch the notebook" she says sounding happy

"sure, i haven't watched it before" i say

"you haven't watched the notebook before!" she turns her head to face me sharply

"um no?" i say

she gasps "now we have to watch it!!"

"ok put it on then" i say

it's about half way through the movie and she seems happy that i look like im interested and i actually am it's a good movie

we've just been sitting next to each other the whole movie but i wanted to get more comfortable aka i wanted to be closer to kat.

kats pov —-

chris seemed like he was enjoying the movie which made me happy, but i wanted to lay with him but i'm not sure he'll be comfortable with that

but as i was thinking that he put his hand on my thigh and was using his thumb stroking it on my leg

i looked at him a smiled and he smiled back

the movie finished and i looked over at chris to see if he was still awake and he was, but there was a tear coming out of his eye

"are you crying?" i ask

he looks at me and his eyes are a little red

"omg! my little chrissy is crying!" i yell quietly

"no! i am not" he say seriously

"yes you areee" i touch his cheek and wipe away the tear but keeping my hand on his face

it's hard to tell because of the lack of light but i could see his face go red

now he puts his hand on my face and i whine a little from him touching my scratch

"oh shit sorry, i forgot" he says concerned

"no it's okay, but i know how you can make it up to me" i say mischievously

"and what's that?" he says

"the get better kiss you promised me earlier" i say

"as you wish" he says smiling

kissing my cheek

i start to blush

"you're not blushing now are you kat?" he says

"no?!" i say smiling

"come on let's just go to bed" he says

"ok" i say grabbing the remote and turning off the tv

i slide down the bed and he does to, i toss and turn trying to get into a comfortable position and i end it a position facing chris back

i close my eyes and try to fall asleep but once i hear shuffling i open my eyes and see chris' eyes on me

"hi" he says in a quiet tone

"goodnight" i say quietly back

"rude, goodnight katty" he whispers
