Chapter One: Invitations Arrived

*The story begins with a kingdom called, "The Kingdom of Marebay" at night. and as the night begins to fade away the sun slowly rises peeking over the horizon. As the title card appears on the screen and it reads "Cindersparkle". A rooster is heard crowing in the background as the ponies woke up, and said "Good Morning!" to each other.*

Narrator: Once upon a time in a kingdom of Marebay, there lived a lavender alicorn pony named Twilight Sparkle. She is also called Cindersparkle. Due to the sparks coming out of her horn. And she lives with her stepmother and stepsisters, but her not-so-nice stepmother did work her like a maid though. But Cindersparkle didn't mind, cause she never complains due to housework. And she has two very nice stepsisters, their names are Shimmerzella and Startastia. 

*scene cuts to Cindersparkle (played by Twilight Sparkle) sleeping*

Narrator: Every year a ball was held at the palace and Cindersparkle dreamed of going there to dance with the prince.

*In Cindersparkle's dream we see the prince dancing with Cindersparkle and the dream fades away*

Cindersparkle: *talking in sleep* I love you my sweet charming prince. *snores*

Narrator: But she had one little problem.

Lady Lulamoon (played by Trixie Lulamoon): *off-screen* Cindersparkle! Cindersparkle, where are you?! CINDERSPARKLE!!!

Cindersparkle: *wakes up* Here Stepmother!

Lady Lulamoon: Ah there you are, you never believe what arrived today!

Cindersparkle: What is it?

Lady Lulamoon: *holds up invitations* Look! From the palace, invitations to Prince Flash Sentry's annual royal holiday ball. Oh! and look, there only three invitations.

Shimmerzella and Startastia (played by Sunset Shimmer, and Starlight Glimmer): *arrive in the room* Ooooooooh.

Lady Lulamoon: One for me. One for Shimmerzella. *hands Shimmerzella an invitation*

Shimmerzella: Alright!

Lady Lulamoon: And one for Startastia. *hands Startastia an invitation*

Startastia: Woo Hoo!

Cindersparkle: This there an invitation for me too?

Lady Lulamoon: Oh. Oh dear, i'm so sorry Cindersparkle, but there isn't an invitation to the ball for you at all.

Cindersparkle: Oh, i see. It's the same of every year for me, that i actually didn't get an invitation.

Lady Lulamoon: And. Of course your stepsisters, and I will be going tomorrow night as usual.

Shimmerzella: Alright!

Startastia: Yeah!

Shimmerzella and Startastia: *in confusion*

Lady Lulamoon: Right. And you have a lot of chores to do, you get to shine our dancing shoes, and mend our clothes, wash the dishes, and paint the house! But make our breakfast first, but not before you.... *gets out a feather duster* Dust.

Cindersparkle: Okay stepmother. *starts dusting the chair and, then a table, then the kettle and counter, then the plates, then a bowl*

Lady Lulamoon: *singing* 🎶Dust the rooms and dust the halls!🎶 🎶Dust the ceilings and the walls🎶 🎶Dust the table dust the chair!🎶 🎶Dust whatever's standing there!🎶 

Cindersparkle: *singing* 🎶Dust the crackers and the cheese.🎶 *dusts the crackers and cheese*

Startastia: *singing* 🎶 Dust the dog and dust the fleas.🎶

Cindersparkle: *dusts the dog and fleas* 🎶Dust the books upon the shelf!🎶 *dusts the books upon the shelf*

Lady Lulamoon: *singing* 🎶When your finish dust yourself!🎶

Shimmerzella: *singing* 🎶Dust the vase, dust the bust.🎶

Lady Lulamoon: *singing* 🎶When you finish dust the dust.🎶

Cindersparkle: *singing* 🎶Nothing dusty is too small!🎶

All: *singing* For tomorrow is the prince's ball!!

*Chattering*

Lady Lulamoon: My daughters come to me.

Shimmerzella and Startastia: Yes Mom?

Lady: Lulamoon: Tomorrow this time we'll be dancing at the ball with the prince at the palace. And how do we get to the palace?

Startastia: We know. Same as always.

Shimmerzella, Startastia, Lady Lulamoon: Practice, practice, practice.

Shimmerzella: Ringbo, ringbo, ringbo.

Lady Lulamoon: Oh, look! They're decorating the palace for the ball tomorrow as we speak. *opens the windows and looks through the telescope* Oh, I see the king! He's talking to somepony, he's orange and a unicorn.

King Iron Wing (played by Flash's dad, Iron Wing): Cut to the chase Sunburst!

Royal Unicorn Pony Minister (played by, Sunburst): Well sire, I thought as your most intelligent unicorn pony minister, I should show you this law before we have Flash Sentry's ball tomorrow. *grunts and sits a book down* The royal heavy book here says and I quote. The prince/or princess must choose a husband/or wife at the ball by midnight or else lose the kingdom.

King Iron Wing: Where does it say that? Where?

Royal Unicorn Pony Minister: Down here in the teeny tiny print right after offer void prohibited.

King Iron Wing: Oh I should always read the find print.

Queen Honey Bee (played by Flash's mom, Honey Bee): That's true.

King Iron Wing: I'm afraid it's true Flash.

Prince Flash Sentry (played, by Flash Sentry): But i'm not ready to get married.

King Iron Wing: If you don't marry will lose the land of Marebay, the castle, everything! 

Queen Honey Bee: *gasps*

Prince Flash Sentry: I don't want that to happen.

King Iron Wing: I knew you'd understand.

Prince Flash Sentry: But dad, every year I meet the same suitresses at the ball. There's nopony right for me. Couldn't we invite some new ponies this year?

Queen Honey Bee: Well that's reasonable Iron Wing.

King Iron Wing: Why not everypony! Make an edit, this year besides the usual suitresses we will invite every unmarried mare in the kingdom to the ball.

Royal Unicorn Pony Minister: What about unmarried alicorns, sire?

King Iron Wing: Alicorns too!

Royal Unicorn Pony Minister: A wise choice.

King Iron Wing: Take the edit to the royal messenger, and send her into town to proclaim. That prince Flash Sentry's annual royal holiday ball will now be called. Prince Flash Sentry's annual royal holiday find-a-wife ball. 

Royal Unicorn Pony Minister: That is a royal mouthful.

King Iron Wing: Go.

*Sunburst leaves*
