Minho showed Taemin the box and opened it slowly, revealing a diamond shaped ring with their name printed in the inner side. Taemin gasped, he never wished for this. He never thought Minho would buy it. He never thought Minho would give it to him. Never in his lifetime he thought he'd get a diamond ring from Minho. He touched the ring carefully, so careful as if the ring would break into pieces if he's being harsh. Minho who saw it eventually took Taemin's hand in his and slipped the ring into his finger, adoring the beautify afterwards.

"It fits you, thanks God." Minho laughed. He kissed Taemin's hand and let he took it back. A hot burning pink tint rose on Taemin's cheeks before he scooted himself closer to Minho. He tilted the taller guy's face and smooched his lips on Minho's softly. "Thank you. I loved you, I'm loving you and I'll always love you. Just love me as much as I do, because I never put limits between it. Thank you, Minho. Thank you."

Minho nodded, coughing lightly- earning a worried look from Taemin.

"You okay?" He asked, patting Minho's back gently, hoping that it'd help him- at least for a tiny little bit. When the cough suffering period of time ended, he answered to the question. "I'm fine. And most welcome, Taemin-ah." Minho ducked in his head and kissed Taemin's lips back. They stayed like that for a while, before they broke it up and wrapped their arms around one another's waist. Silence surrounded them. Just a little cough from Minho can be heard.

"Minho,"

"Yes?"

"Can you promise me something?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Stay by my side forever."

Minho fainted a sad smile, not so obvious for Taemin.

"What if I go first?"

"Do you want to leave me?"

Silence. Just.. silence.

"I promise."

Taemin shook his head after recalling those moments- those sweet moments of him and his Minho. He brushed his fingertips over their picture in the frame, wiping off the dust and got a clearer vision of their beautiful, happy faces. How he missed that time when they were happy, when he was happy.

"You broke your promise, Minho. Where are you, I want you back." A single pure crystal tear drop managed to escape from his eyes no matter how much he tried to stop it. The drops fell on the glass of the frame, making Minho's face became blurred.

Taemin had been staying in his room all day long. No eating, no drinking. He just sat on the bed while wearing Minho's favourite cloth, clutched onto the frame tightly. Today is August 27th, their date. Their day. Their everything. Oh scratch that- was their date. It's not that Taemin never cried or not used to cry a lot but the life tests were just too much for him. For the weak him without his half. He tilted his head, focusing on the drawer beside. He shifted himself away and pulled up the drawer, taking a long hospital-look-alike document. Bet it's indeed a hospital document. He roamed his hand over the cover, memorizing the bitter memories about it. He closed his eyes for a while before he opened it up again, slowly flipping the cover and revealing the first page.

Second page.

Third page.

And the fourth page.

He stopped in his track, glancing down the namelist. He stopped moving his eyeballs when they reached the record at number 15.

15. Choi Minho ; 1991, 12, 09

-Died because of cancer (19/7.14)

Taemin ran into the hospital hall with uneasy feelings. He hated this place so much. Yes, he hated hospitals. For him, those who get their self in it would be leaving everyone. He worried about his Minho. Taemin bit his lower lip hard, hands clenching into a fist. Too tight until his knuckles changed white. He distracted the nurses, shaking her shoulders wildly.
