*•chapter two•*

"I missed my hands!" You bent down to pick a flower and put it in Nick's hair.

Nick's face beamed at your gesture.

You continued walking down the path before getting to the stopping point you were meant to meet Abi at.

Except there was no Abi. Only a note.

You grabbed the note from the large sitting log and read through it.

             𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘮𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 :)

You stuffed the note in your back pocket, you felt your face getting warmer and sat down on the log. You heard the sound of sticks falling, looking to your left and seeing Nick sit next to you.

"It's a beautiful sight.." You said, now looking at the horizon.

"Yeah, it is." Unbeknownst to you, Nick was looking at you. Not the sky.

The way the sun's light danced with every thing that it could touch. The wind brushing through the leaves, jumping from tree to tree. It was calming. The way the sun felt on your skin was like a soft blanket covering you from the cold.

Out of nowhere, you heard noises from the bushes. Now standing up, you looked behind you.

"Did you hear that?" You asked Nick.

Before he could provide an answer, a small baby pig came out from it's hiding place. It's little legs carried itself all the way to your feet.

"Oh my god! You're so cute!" You bent down to pet the little piglet, a smile now on your face.

"Hi baby! Aren't you just the cutest wittle thing!" You cooed, the pig obviously loving the attention.

Out of nowhere, Nick shoved you away from the pig. Before you could react, a giant hog jumped on top of Nick.

"Nick! Oh my god!" You cried out, running behind a tree to hide.

You watched as the hog sniffed Nick a couple of times before walking away from him with it's kid. He quickly got up and ran to your side, shielding you both from the hog.

"I think that's a story to tell the husband back home.." Nick laughed a little at his own joke.

"How do you know that was a momma?" You asked, curious on how he could tell.

"Oh..I got a good look."

"Oh! Ew!"

"I think she was coming onto me. Thought I was cute."

You laughed a little at his missed opportunity of love. You calmed down a little to attempt to add on.

"Awww. Nicky got himself a girlfriend!" You cooed, now going into a laughing fit at your own joke.

"It's not funny! I saw things I could never unsee!" That just made you laugh even harder.

"Oh my gosh, you are a child!" He jokingly said. Picking up the sticks he began walking back to the campsite. You followed, still laughing at the whole situation.
