After Leo and Asians fiasco we called off the games night. I was staying the night at Keon's so i packed my bag while I waited for him to come get me.
"I'm leaving out y'all please behave."I said.
"Have fun getting drilled till the early hours of the morning."Niyah said
" Gurl- You know what I will."I replied
"Is Asian good?"Keon asked me once I was in the car
"Yeah she's so unfazed I mean this is them every other day."I replied
"I wish you would try that silly shit with me."I said.
"Mane don't start."Keon said.
"I'm just saying."I replied.

"Hey girl."I said walking into Kiki's room
"Omg heyy I missed you big sis."She replied.
"We gotta get out some time Imma take you out."I replied
"I need to get out fr all I do is sit in this big ass house."She replied
"You ain't got school tomorrow?"Keon asked standing in the door way
"I do."She replied quietly
"So why you not sleep?"He asked.
"I was waiting for you to come home."She replied
"Oh okays well make sure you get some sleep." He said before walking out.
"Please don't leave him."Kiki blurted out
"Girl what are you talking about."I asked
"Keon. you know I love him and I know he loves me but sometimes I feel like a burden sometimes I feel like running away and I know he doesn't feel that way but It's hard when he's so cold but ever since you came around he seems to be feeling happiness for the first time. For the first time in years I've seen my brother smile. You make him happy and that's just something I can't do for him."She said
Looking at this young girl I saw so much of myself in her. My life wasn't a tiny bit as hard as hers but she reminded me so much of myself.
"You're so strong and I want you to know that. Keon 100% loves you and he may not show it in the right ways but I know he cares and he's trying I promise I'm not going anywhere and I'm never gonna matter as much to him as you do before I even came in the picture you was his reason to live and you should never take that away from yourself."
"Thank you."She said
My heart ached for this sweet little girl. Her childhood was filled with nothing but turmoil and now she can still sit here and care about everyone else more than herself It was evident she was so out of touch with her emotions. She deserved all the love in the world.
"Get some sleep and we gonna talk in the morning okay."I said
"alright."She replied.
"Goodnight Princess."I said
"Good night big sis."She replied
Me and Niyah always wanted a little sibling growing up but mum and dad were done having kids after us.Kiara was that little sister I was wanted and i was going to be that big sister she needed.
"Keon."I said giving him a knowing look as I walked in the room
"Mane don't start I know."He replied
"No stop you're doing that again. We don't brush over things and let them build up We talk about it so we can't understand each other and continue to grow together not apart."I said.
My relationship with Keon has honestly taught me so much about myself and grown me so much.I've learnt what patience really means and how effective communication can be when it's done correctly. If two people both truly want something to work they really can do it
"I don't know how to change man I'm trying I really am."He said with his voice cracking
Kiara was always a sensitive topic for Keon Whenever we would talk about her he always gets so emotional and for someone who struggles with understanding and coming to terms with his emotions it really takes a toll on him so he avoids it
"I know you are and I believe you but Keon baby you gotta understand this isn't going to to happen overnight."I said
"There's clearly a big issue here but if you don't sit down and face it you're going to do more damage.You've done everything you can to better Kiara's life and I know she's grateful but unfortunately we're human and no matter how much material things we have if we don't feel good in here (I said pointing to my heart) then none of it matters."I added.
"You're right Imma do better."He said
"Bring yo Handsome self here."I said laying under him
"I want you to put yo febreze can inside of me."I said looking him in his eye
"Lil gurl febreze can ???! I ain't never heard that one before you gone call lil bro everything but what he is."Keon said
"Lil???! that's a whole baked potato."I said.
