Heartbreak

Heartbreak– it's agonizing.
When we are robbed by the cruel gusts of life, we want to break down.
Robbed of the person we love, robbed for better or for worse.
A love now gone leaves swirls of memories.
Thoughts and feelings from a past that seems so vivid.
If the memories of bright laughter and love are so clear to me,
Why are you gone?
I have a feeling of a hole not all the way filled.
There are the memories, and yet I know there will be no more made as a couple together.

I tell myself it will be okay.
I do not know if time will heal me, but right now my sorrow is massively deep, as the first true love of my life now slips further.
