"I've never seen the end of me, but I'd like to think you'd be there. I've been trying to be a soothing wave, but you've been my ocean all along."

..............................................................................................................

Call her dumb, a bitch or anything you want. But remember when you will stand in her shoes, you'll realize what love and life is.

She looked at her reflection in the mirror, looking absolutely stunning. Today was the day, the final one where she can either win or lose Zachary.

"Ouch" She mumbled and caressed her head which  stung like a big bruise. She was able to cover those marks with a concealer and some foundation so that no one gets a wrong image of Zach.

"Let's do this hun, You're looking absolutely gorgeous" Self love and praise was the only way she was surviving right now.

'......'

She stepped inside the venue glancing at the huge group of people present. It was somehow uncomfortable for her due to being a huge introvert and locking herself in her house for a long time.

She groaned as she looked around for Zachary but failed. So she decided to step to the bar. "Extra strong" She instructed while the bartender prepared the drink and passed it to her. She drank it in one gulp to feel hot in her throat. "More please".

"Hey Roxanne" A male voice spoke making her turn her head back towards the person. "Oh-Axel!" It was Axel, Roxanne's old friend. "Ayy! long time no see. Where were you?" He asked and she replied "Orlando" He chucked and they talked for some time.

"Anne, let me tell you, I have absolute no idea why you left Zachary but I will always support your decision as I know, everything you do has a good meaning behind it." His straightforwardness surely surprised her but she smiled at him.

While they were drinking and talking. Roxanne's gaze fell onto Zachary who was greeting the guests. They made eye contact making her feel shivers as she hurried to hide her bandage on the head. Zachary didn't notice her bandage but his smirk grew wider on seeing her until Axel asked Roxanne something while she had more alcohol till she became tipsy.

Everyone's attention was stolen by Zach when he clinked the glasses together. "Everyone! today I am here to spend the night happily with you all and my beautiful fiancée Delilah Adams!" Everyone clapped and praised the couple while the alcohol started its work on Roxanne.

She stood up on the bar stool making Axel shocked. "Everyone!" She stole everyone's attention. "Anne-" Axel whispered and pulled her to be on the floor.

She lightly pushed him away and walked towards the soon-to-be married couple.

"Happier with her right?" She asked earning a scoff for him.

"Miss Fleming, you do not have the right to interrupt our celebration like that". He gulped

"So you don't want the truth?"
