I used to hate this but eh, not sm. I do think that it won't happen in canon, but in fanon it's..OK. I'm mixed about it. I like reading it, because i know that bakugo cares about deku and vice versa, but I really don't think it's an excuse to bully someone just to protect them.
also, bakugo treats izuku like garbage.
I think their relationship is open to interpret, and I'm really confused about it and still trying to figure this all out and navigate it. but I think that you can ship whatever you'd like, as long as you're not disrespecting anything/anybody.
I just don't think that in canon, bakudeku is a good ship. I don't read the manga so he's probably changed. yes, I know he apologized, but I won't accept that apology bc

edit: i have changed my opinion after reading bakudeku metas and being more open minded and i genuinely like it! i still don't like the apology but at least he somewhat tried. i definitely ship this ship now, and it's my OTP.
we NEED to talk more about how in depth this pairing is! their dynamic is super interesting !
