"They're looking at me" I whispered near Xavier's ear as we walked through his vast territory. I couldn't decipher the stares that they held considering the only thing I've received from the eyes of people are hatred and disgust. This was something new...

"That's because you are their, Luna" he gripped my waist as if I'd go batshit crazy on him once more and run away. I couldn't do that, at least not anymore. I lost Chase, I closed my eyes remembering so much blood inside the small cabin we had built together in which there lay a small note saying

"He's gone, Plague. You're Next" I cringed.

My wolf had stopped functioning the moment all those events took place. The discovery of our mate and leaving him weakened my wolf, seeing the blood of my best friend painted on our home....made my wolf vulnerable. I remembered crying and howling in pain. The fates were cruel but I didn't know it was to this extent. I was going to break again, so I went back to Him. Xavier.

"That doesn't justify the staring" I groaned shielding myself from their watchful glances by burying myself into Xavier's side. No I didn't accept him yet. I doubt I will. I just need him so my wolf could recuperate from all the horrid event she encountered.

"He is our strength"

"What's bullshit?" He asked walking toward a brick building almost like a law firm...from the looks of it men were already inside. I ignored his question and asked another in response

"Where are we going?" I asked getting paranoid. What if he brought me here to kill me? What if he was the one who killed Chase all along... What if-

"We're here"

Immediately a chorus of growls erupted. My wolf didn't like. She didn't like it one bit, I had Alpha blood and I was blessed with the Silver Curse. The authority in me doesn't like being snarled at by a bunch of low rank wolves. Xavier growled at the, but I pushed his chest back and stood in front of him

"Listen here air headed mutts! I am Rogue, Curse of the Forest, Terror of the Wild and The Luna to Xavier Overstreet. I am the Silver Plague. Unless you don't want to shit out you eyes, I suggest you keep your tails between your legs and fucking listen!" I thundered leaving the wolf council in silence save the occasional submissive whimpers. I looked up to Xavier to see he was already staring to me a weird look was settled on his face.

I didn't like it, it made my insides twist uncomfortably and tingly sensation travel down my spine. So I flicked his forehead. Yes, I flicked the Alpha King's forehead. Get over it

"Did you just flick me?" He asked amused yet astonished as he brushed his forehead lightly using the pads of his fingertips

"Yes" I said simple looking at him seriously. He smirked and stared back at the wolf council.

"You've met my mate, Rogue Overstreet. Now I deem it unjust for me to punish her for I crime she never committed. A note has been sent to my mate claiming she's next, it's clear she isn't the one killing. She's the one the killer is after" he spoke strongly the power radiating off of him making you want to bow down give him praise. His brows were furrowed together in concentration, his face so strong but he held my hand with gentlest of touch.

"Why would they want her?" A wolf in his Middle Ages asked refusing to address or even look at me. Chicken.

"Why wouldn't they?" Xavier said with most serious expression he had. That's your excuse? At this rate I'll be leaving this council decapitated.

"She was banished from her pack" another wolf clarified and I had to admit that stung. Fuck it was like being impaled by a spear entering the mouth and coming out the asshole. Xavier glared at him and turned to me

"I'll show you why you should never ever, upset my mate" he looks me in the eyes and spoke his next words so softly that only I could hear "mind showing them what you can do baby?" He asked gripping my hand as I looked at the guy who disrespected me

"I don't like hurting people but you asked for it" I sighed and not moment later. Gasps and shocked murmurs filled the room as the asshole fell to his knees. I stopped once Xavier kissed my cheek.

The door of the room suddenly slammed open and bloodied up boy grasping his stomach practically crawled to the room

"Fuck me!" He shouted gasping like crazy and in an instant I recognized him

"Fuck you!" I yelled back happily

Chase Isaiah Morgan was alive

A reader DMed me and she was freaking out that Chase died so I brought him back to life. I made a few tweaks in the plot
