Chapter Five

It was a job about a giant monster the locals wanted wiped out.
"Seems a bit intense for a first job,"
"Think I can't handle it?"
"Fine do what you want, but don't blame me when you end up dead,"
"Oh we'll be fine, plus it pays a ton of jewl,"
He shook his head and took the paper off the board,
"We'll save it for tomorrow, for now, go home and get some rest,"
"Fine,"
Pancake walked over to me and I scooped him up in my arms,
"We ought to be goin' now,"
"You got a place in town?"
"Yeah, I was here a few years ago, bought a place and then left,"
"See-ya"
We walked down the street until we came to a giant wooden house, with two stories and a mailbox that said, ' Get off my property,". Yup, we were home. I walked inside and up the stair case, I closed my eyes and passed out on my bed. I slept for what seemed like seconds and when I woke up I was almost naked,
"Did it get hot last night?"
I asked myself, I was sweating,
"You bet it did,"
Wait who was that, Oh god, there was a guy in my room, he was only in his boxers, and we were, SPOONING? What is wrong with me, why am I spooning a random guy!?! Ok, let's see who it is, I heald my breath, I looked over to see, NATSU?
"Wait wha-"
"Ready for round two babe?"
"What?!?!?"
He hopped on top of me and softly kissed my neck, it seemed slow motion, and I wanted it to never end, but then,
BEEEEEEP, BEEEEEEEEP, I groaned and hit the top of my alarm clock. My heart was pounding and I was covered in sweat, just a dream, wait, did I just dream about Natsu?! What is wrong with me!?! I sat in the bed for hours, just thinking, letting the dream soak in, why, I mean I barely knew him?!
Then there was a BANG, I hopped to my feet and began to creep like a ninja to the kitchen, where it came from. I was about to punch the intruders in the face, but I stopped a few inches short, Natsu, the dream came rushing into my head and I blushed, hard,
"Natsu! What the hell?!?"
"Well, we thought we'd wake you up, why is your face so red?"
"Um, uhhh, don't mind that."
I snapped. Him and Happy sat at the table eating my cereal. I felt like I smashed my head into a wall. God, he was here, and after the dream, I couldn't handle it, I needed air, I walked outside and breathed deep for a minute before I realized, Natsu was still there, I wanted a few more seconds to myself so I went to Pancakes bed and scooped him up, I sat down at the table with Natsu,
"So, why are you stealing my food?"
"I was hungry, duh,"
He sprayed bits of cereal everywhere,
"God you're immature,"
So why was I crushing on him?!?!?
"Hey! Just shut your fat face!"
"Oh, so scared,"
Again, not the lightest sarcasm, With a flick of the wrist he was stuck against the roof,
"Ok, sorry,"
"And stop talking with your mouth full."
I laughed as I slowly put him back in his seat.
"Oh, we can't to your job,"
he said pulling the paper out of his pocket,
"Why not?"
"Erza is coming back and she said she had a job for me and Grey, I convinced her to let you come."
"Woah, Erza Scarlet?"
"Yup,"
I had heard tales of her and her amazing requip magic, about how fast it was, and how powerful,
"Really, she is so amazing!!!"
"She's not that cool! Plus when she comes back I'm going to finally beat her!"
"No, way, and I said stop talking with your mouth full!"
"Hey!!!"
He deliberately sprayed cereal all over my face. I chuckled at seeing him so upset, he looked at a stubborn child,
"Well, we should probably get going," I stretched my arms, forgetting Pancake was in them,
"Ow!!"
He crashed to the ground, oops.
