He lunged towards her in an attempt to grab her body, but before he had the chance to, I grabbed hold of his neck with my hand, tossing him backwards, causing him to fall hard against the table with a painful smack.
Jasmine let out a terrified sob.
"Bastard," I gritted. "Didn't you learn your lesson the first time I told you to back the fuck off?"
"Adrian, what the fuck are you doing?" Matteo demanded. "We needed this business partnership! Why are you hitting him?!"
"Fuck the partnership," I snarled. "I'm not doing business with a filthy bastard like him."
My eyes darted upwards to face Jasmine, but she was running out of the room, with tears streaming down her face.
I let out a growl.
