twenty-three.

i was currently running around my trailer, looking under anything and everything for the script el dropped off. i was so shocked when she told me i was going to be the new face for cover girl's woman empowerment ad.

there were going to be a few actresses and just as many singers, plus girl groups, in the same ad. lucky enough for me, i had a few words to say unlike the rest.

frantically dialing el's number, i wait as it rings and rings, sighing i leave her a voicemail. "eleanor, where the heck are you? i'm freaking! cant seem to find the script, call me."

putting my phone down, i'm startled by a loud knock at my door.

"come in."

to my surprise, it's michael and calum, "hey guys, what are y'all doing here?"

"just wanted to surprise my favorite girlfriend," calum jokes. "well the only girlfriend i'll have."

looking to the boy with puppy dog eyes, "aw my poor baby."

"ya know, even as a fake couple you two are still very annoying," michael states, disgust written all over his face. "like get a room or something."

"shut up," we say in unison.

"anyways, we came by to see if yoy wanted to have lunch with us," michael said, smiling at me. "we were thinking taco truck out back."

oh how i love my best friend, i had been gushing about the truck for over three weeks now.

now it may sound sketchy, but i have an undying love for food trucks and this was the best one in all of LA.

grabbing my wallet, and both boy's hands, i rush us out of my trailer and down the street.

"so you'll never guess what happened," calum says, knowing gossip is about to hit me, i give him my full attention. "since you know, youve been mia for like two weeks now."

"oh hush," i say, laughing at the boy. but he was right after hanging out with the guys and him two Fridays ago, i've been so wrapped up in working and interviews i hadn't had time for them.

it honestly made me sad, they were like best friend. "now tell me whats been going on."

"luke and sophie broke up."

wait what happened? i think, but when calum starts to explain i realize i said it aloud.

"he says because she became super needy," calum states. "but i think it's because she's a bitch."

"i just think it's cause he likes someone else," michael says, nudging me in the side.

"who knows," i say rolling my eyes, trying to seem the least bit interested. but secretly, i was dying to know why they broke up.

"lets all have dinner at my place, since i havent seen y'all in two weeks," i suggest, stopping at the end of the line for the taco truck. "we can order chinese or pizza or even mexican."

sadly the reason i invited them over was to get dets from luke himself. but i wasn't going to tell either of them the truth.

nodding in unison, calum says, "i'll tell the other boys and we'll let you know. anyways, its your turn to order."
