CHAPTER 28

THERE ARE TIMES that you wanted to give up because your already tired. But try to look up to the brighter side of life. You can see how beautiful life is.

I am smiling widely while holding my diploma. Today is our graduation day. I am very thankful that I made it. While looking to the people who's the reason behind my courage and strength in life. To my family, mama, papa,kuya Keizen and Selene. They are looking at me with a wide smiled on their lips. To my bestfriends, Leigh and Kesha and of course to the man who always there through my ups and downs, Chester.

"Thank you. " I ended up my speech with the smile on my lips. Nagsipalapakan naman ang mga magulang, guro at kapwa ko estudyante. I graduated my senior high school with flying colors.

Niyakap ako nina mama at papa pagkababa ko ng stage.

"Proud na proud ako sayo anak. "Saad ni mama bago ako hinalikan sa pisnge.

"Ang anak ko. Proud na proud din sayo si papa 'nak. "Saad ni papa at niyakap ako ng mahigpit.

Kumalas ako sa pagkakayakap sa kanila at niyakap si Selene at kuya.

I also hugged Leigh and Kesha who's now smiling widely at me.

"Baka bestfriend ko yan. Napaiyak mo ako don sa speech mo beshy ha. " ani ashleigh at mahina pa ako ng hinampas.

Tinawanan lang namin siya ni Kesha.

Kesha hug me gently and kissed my cheeks.

Pagkatapos no'n ay tiningnan ko ang lalaking kanina pa ako gustong yakapin.

Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit.

"I'm so proud of you baby. " he whispered and kissed my hair.

Napangiti naman ako.

"Thank you. I love you. "

"And I love you too. So much. " he said and stared at me lovingly.

"Uy tama na yan. Halika na kumain na tayo nagugutom na ako. "I mentally rolled my eyes when I heard kuya keizen's voice.

Yumakap din ako sa mommy at daddy ni Chester.

Yes my parents and Chester's parents already know each other.

I also introduced Chester to my parents.

I remembered how Chester was nervous that day. Natawa na lang ako ng maalala ang pangyayaring iyon. Wala namang pagtutol sina mama at papa sa amin. It's just kuya keizen who's very annoying.

Sumama rin ang mga kaibigan ni Chester sa amin.

Maingay at masaya kaming nag celebrate sa isang kilalang restaurant.

Natawa ako ng makita ang busangot na mukha ni kuya. Kinukulit siya ng mga kaibigan ni Chester.

"Tigilan niyo nga ako. " kunot noo niyang saway kina dwayne.

But of course. Dwayne being himself he's just keep annoying my brother.

"Baby are you happy?" Lumingon naman ako sa lalaking kanina pa nakatingin sa akin.

I squeeze his hand gently and smiled at him.

"Very happy. Ikaw masaya ka ba? " balik na tanong ko sa kaniya.

"More than happy." He said and kissed my forehead.

Nagpatuloy kami sa pagkain at minsa'y nakkikihalubilo sa usapan.

ANDITO KAMI NGAYON sa park ni Chester. Naglalakad habang magkahawak ang kamay naming dalawa. After that simple celebration of our graduation we decided to go to the park. Pinayagan naman kami ng magulang namin. Nagkanya-kaniyang uwian naman ang mga kaibigan namin dahil may celebration din sila together with their family.

They invited us but we declined. Sinabi kasi naming may pupuntahan kami at naiintindihan naman nila iyon.

Umupo muna kami ni Chester ng mapagod kaming dalawa sa paglalakad. We are watching people walking in the park. Medyo madami pa ring tao ang naririto kahit pagabi na.

Chester suddenly held my hand and stared at me.

"Thank you for coming into my life baby. " he said out of nowhere.

Napangiti naman ako dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Salamat din dahil dumating ka sa buhay ko.Mahal na mahal kita. "

He smiled before giving me a kiss in my forehead.

"And I love you too. So much baby. I know that there's a lot of challenges that will come to us but always remember that I'm here for you no matter what happened. Magkasama hating haharapin ang mga pagsubok na darating sa buhay natin.Sabay din nating aabutin ang mga pangarap natin." Tumango naman ako at hinawakan ang kaniyang mukha.

"Let's reach our dream together." I said."I never imagine loving you this much. Siguro Ginayuma mo ako no! " Pabiro kung sabi at mahinang hinampas sa kanyang balikat.

Tumawa naman siya.

"Sa gwapo kung to. Naku hindi ko na kailangan ng gayuma no.At tsaka patay na patay din naman ako sayo kaya quits lang tayo. " he said and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Yabang."

Tumawa lang siya at niyakap ako.

"I will marry you after reaching our dreams together. I promise." bulong niya.

I nodded.

"Sigurado ka ba jan? Baka pag na sa college na tayo makahanap ka pa ng iba. " I seriously said.

Kunot noo naman siyang kumalas sa pagkakayakap sa akin bago ako tignan.

"Anong pinagsasabi mo jan. Wala na akong mahahanap na kasing sungit mo no. "

Pinandilatan ko naman siya ng mata at hinampas.

"Chester!"

Tumawa lang siya at kinantalan ako ng halik sa labi.

"Baby don't ever think of that. I will never find someone because your more than enough for me. I love you so much so don't ever think like that please." Masuyo niyang saad.

Tumango naman ako

"I was just teasing you sorry na po." I said and kissed him on the cheeks.

He just pouted.

"Bakit sa cheeks lang?"

"Hoy abusado ka na ha." Pero ang loko umirap lang at hindi ako pinansin.

"Mark Chester Gutierrez. "

"Chester isa." Seryoso kung saad.

Tumingin naman siya sa akin.

"What?"pagmamaktol niya habang nakanguso pa rin.

I sighed and kissed him on the lips.

Mukhang nagulat naman siya.

" Oh fu-fudgebar I love you so much baby."saad niya at niyakap ako ng mahigpit.

Natawa na lang ako bago siya niyakap pabalik.

Magkasama naming pinanood ang sunset at kinagabihan ay ang fireworks display.

I'm very happy right now. I never imagine myself being with someone before. I just wanted to graduate and help my family but suddenly Chester got into the picture.

Ginulo niya ang nananahimik kung buhay. He's very annoying. I don't like him because his a playboy. But look at us now, happy and contented with each other.

He's my home.

He stared at me with so much love in his eyes.

"I love you so much baby."

This man who never get tired to say and make me feel how much he loves me.

"I love you too."

With that our lips met and we kiss.
