Girlfriends

Before Stella could blink, Beatrix was being pulled away by one of Queen Luna's guards.

She was being escorted to the school's office for her verdict.

"What's happening?" Bloom asked.

All the girls were by Stella's side after they saw what had gone down. Confused has to what happened

"My mother took Beatrix, more likely to convict her for what she did to Nicholas"

"That's harsh!" Terra said

"She doesn't deserve it because she was trying to protect me" Stella said

"What do you mean?" Aisha asked

"My mother tried to marry me off to Nicholas who by the way is nothing more than a power-hungry narcissist. Anyway, he grabbed me and wouldn't let go so Beatrix attacked him" Stella explained

"Not saying it wasn't good of her for saving you but the way she acted was kind of odd" Terra said

Stella sighed, it was better to tell them now than later

"Beatrix and I are kind of together" Stella uttered

She looked around at her friends for their reactions.

Flora was smiling, Terra was shocked, Musa looked unbothered and Bloom and Aisha were smirking

"I was wondering when you finally were going to tell us" Aisha said

"Yeah we knew all along" Bloom said

"Speak for yourself, I didn't!" Terra said still in shock

"Why didn't you say anything?" Stella asked

"It wasn't our place to confront you, we wanted you to tell us when you were ready" Aisha said

"You're all okay with it?" Stella ask

"I honestly don't mind" Musa said shrugging

"You already know how I feel" Flora said smiling

"I have concerns because well, it's Beatrix but after all, she's done lately maybe she's not so bad" Terra said

"I still don't trust her but as long as you're happy, it's fine with me" Bloom said

"Same!" said Aisha

"Well If you'll excuse me, I have a trial to go stop" Stella said to her friends before walking away

"You have harmed a royal and therefore your punishment is to have your powers suppressed" Queen Luna said to Beatrix

She pulled out the bracelets and just when she was about to put them on Beatrix's wrist, Stella burst through the door

"Stop!" Stella yelled

"This meeting has nothing to do with you Stella, now leave!" her mother said

"Normally I would do what you say but for this. To hell with your demands" Stella said pushing back

"You seem to forget that I'm not only your mother but your Queen!" Luna said

"You seem to remind me every chance you get so how about I do you the same! I'm the only child you have, which means I'm you're only heir. I'd like to see what happens to your precious legacy if I renounce being Princess" Stella threatened

She knew her mother and knew the only thing she cared about more than power was legacy. Her big plans of having her line stay on the throne for generations were all she cared about.

Her mother was so obsessed with her plan that she tried to her into her exact image so she could rule just like her. According to her mother being stern was what made good Queens.

Stella knew it was just her mother's way of saying ruthless.

"You wouldn't dare!" Her mother said

"Put those on her and I swear I would" Stella said, stepping toward her mother with zero fear.

She meant every word

Her mother stared at her, trying to figure out if her daughter was bluffing or not.

When she realized she wasn't. She put the bracelets back in the box

"What do you suggest I tell Lord Edward happened to your friend?" Queen Luna asked

"You're the Queen, I'm sure you'll figure it out" Stella said before grabbing Beatrix's hand and leaving

Stella waited until she was far away before letting out a breath she was holding

"I must say, you showing authority is hot" Beatrix said, smiling at Stella

"You almost lost the use of your powers and your making jokes?" Stella asked smiling too

"Yet I did because I have a very hot yet persuasive girlfriend" Beatrix said smiling again but her smile dropped when she realized what she just called Stella

"Girlfriend?" Stella asked

"I..uh-" Beatrix stuttered

"I like that!" Stella said smiling before kissing her official girlfriend

They continued kissing for a while and while Stella was happy at the moment, her mind went back to what Nicholas had said
