Something strange

"Hello there my dear Kimberly."

He spoke with a heavy British accent.

"Hi Mr. Detective Man!"

"Oh, so just because I like to dress like a detective, I always carry a magnifying glass, and I have a British accent it automaticly makes me a detective?"

Dib's POV:

I walked in the house and saw Kim sitting in the middle of the room. She looked dizzy.

"What has gotten into you Kim?"

"Hi Mr. Detective Man!"

"Mr. What? You're acting wierder than usual!"

"People with British accents are usually really good detectives..."

Zim came in and saw Kim. Kim stared at him horrified.

"Oh no! It's the penguin!!!"

Kim climbed to the top of the book shelf. She started hissing at Zim.

"Is she okay?"

"I don't know... Can you check?"

"Yeah but you're going to have to get her to my lab..."

Kim started throwing books at us.

"Meet me in the lab."

He walked away. Kim glared at me.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"

Kim kept throwing books at me. I ran into the kitchen. Kiwi, Lulu, Gaz, and Flo were there. They looked worried. What was I gonna do? Then I saw Flo holding a quarter. I have an idea!

"Flo, can I borrow that quarter?"

"Sure!"

"Zim is going to see if Kim's alright. I'm taking her to his lab."

I grabbed the quarter and ran back into th living room. Kim growled at me and started barking.

"Kim! I have something for you!"

I put the quarter to the light and it started shining. Kim stared at it dazzled.

"If you want it your going to have to be a good girl and get down from there."

She slowly and cautiously got down from the book shelf. Then she walked towards me on her hands and knees. She stopped right infront of me and was deciding on trusting me or not. I put the quarter on the floor. As she stared at the quarter, I got on my knees and started petting her head. She smiled and started purring like a cat. I grabbed the quarter and put it in a box. Kim got into the box and I quickly closed it and tapped it shut. She tried to get out but couldn't. I grabbed the box and put it on my old red wagon. Then I walked to Zim's house. Kim was scratching at the box the whole walk and would ocasionaly wimper. We finally made it to Zim's house. I opened the door. Zim was sitting on the sofa watching TV. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hello, Dib. Where's Kim?"

Kim barked from inside the box. Zim laughed and stood up.

"Computer, take us to my lab!"

We got to the lab and found Izy and Gir standing on their heads.

"ROOF PEOPLE!!!"

I looked at Zim. He sighed.

"Hey, Zim, with you being a scientist and everything, why can't you fix Gir?"

"I can, but his stupidity has grown on me..."

Zim looked at Gir and smiled. Then he cleared up a table.

"Get Kim on the examining table."

I started to remove the tape from the box. As soon as I took it off completly, Kim burst out of the box. I picked her up. She started kicking me. She escaped and hid behind the table.

"I know how we could get her to stay still... But you have to trust me..."

"Why?"

"Just... Trust me... And promise not to tell ANYONE about this, okay?"

"Uh... Yea... I promise..."

"Good..."

Zim looked at Kim, who was now in a corner of the room hopping, and sighed. He quickly and quietly snuck over to Kim without her noticing. Then he stood up and, as Kim turned around, he gave her a kiss. I stared at him shocked. Kim's bouncing slowed to a complete stop. Her antenas drooped slightly. Then Zim pulled away. Kim stared at him dazed. My mouth hung open.

"Hey, it stopped her from escaping, didn't it? Besides, I'm pretty sure Kim's not going to remember any of this! If you dare tell ANYONE I will personally kill you with my bare hands!!!"

"I won't tell anyone... But dont you think I could have done that?"

"No, she's kissed you lots of times... She wouldn't be so shocked..."

He grabbed Kim. She was still dazed. He put her on the table. Then he grabbed a roll of duck tape.

"She's not going to stay still forever..."

I took the tape from his hand and tapped her arms and legs to the table. All of the sudden, she closed her eyes tight and opened them. She gasped and tried to move but she was tapped to the table. She started growling. Zim went over to the table.

"Say Ahhhh."

Kim shook her head. Zim looked at me.

"Can you get her to cooperate?"

I tried to think of a way to get her to open her mouth. Then I remembered that day I accidently poked her in the ribs and she started giggling.

"Kim, you can either be a good girl and open your mouth or I'll make you open it..."

Kim looked away.

"Okay, Then the hard way it is!"

I smiled and put up one finger. She looked at me confused, trying to hide the fact that she was terrified. I ran my finger up her sides. She shut her eyes tightly and started twitching. She bit her lip trying not to laugh. I kept running my finger along her sides. She was still trying really hard not to laugh. Wow... She was stornger than I thought... But I will break her! I stopped. She was relived. But her expresion went from relive to horror as I removed her shoe. She looked at me with those puppy eyes.

"Usually, I would do anything for you when you show me your puppy eyes, but this is for your own good..."

I started tickling her foot. Finally, she started laughing. Zim quickly grabbed a Popsicle stick and put it in Kim's mouth. He looked at Kim strangely. Then he scribbled something down on his notebook. He grabbed a flashlight and shinned it in Kim's eyes. She stared at the light with amazement.

"Just as I thought... Kim is having a skittles overload."

Kim smiled.

"Skittles! I had lots and lots of skittles. There was a whole truck filled with skittles! After I ate them all, a man came in and told me to leave! Sooooooo I started barking at him and, somehow, I ended up with this collar on my neck."

Kim started singing a song about the sun. Zim looked at me seriously.

"She could be like this for days... Weeks even!"

He untied her. She put her arms around his neck and hugged him, almost choking him.

"I love you, Dib!!!"

"He's not Dib... I'm Dib!"

She let go of him.

"I knew that, silly! I was just kidding! You know I love you!"

Kim went over to me and kissed me. I could get used to this...
