They both hugged for a minute before Pepper pulled back to see Nancy's face.
"How are you?"
"Hmm. I'm fantastic as always." Nancy shrugged. Pepper chuckled so not getting used to seeing the similar personality in both Tony and Nancy.
"I'm sure you are." she said before looking at Happy, "I'll take it from here. You can go now. I'm sure you're tired from the long flight. Thank you." Happy nodded and left as Pepper turned towards Nancy, "You should also be tired. Would you like to see your room? Your stuff will be brought to your room."
"Yes, please!" she blew a sigh.
Pepper took her inside the building and into the elevator. "Your room will be on Tony's flo--"
"Which is on the 3rd floor. Wow!" said Nancy interrupting Pepper when she saw her pressing the elevator button.
"It is." she said and continued, "-- this way you won't be disturbed and it is easy for Tony this way since you know that he doesn't want the others to know about you. Yet." Pepper said entering the floor followed by Nancy.
"Welcome home, Ms. Stark. It's nice to see you." said a female disembodied voice.
"The pleasure's all mine F.R.I.D.A.Y." replied Nancy.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y., please show Nancy the 3D blueprint of the building." asked Pepper.
After taking a look at the blueprint of the compound, Nancy learned all the places she had to avoid from Pepper. "So, you're saying that I can't go to most parts of the building? That I shouldn't even use the main entrance to get into the building? Wait! Am I even allowed to go out? I mean it's not like I know the places in New York like I know Greenwich. But still." she asked, yet again with annoyance evidence on her face.
"Sweetie, It's not like that. Tony doesn't want you to be spotted by anyone. Yet. And of course, you're allowed to go outside with Happy or me when I have time." Pepper said, trying to convince her.
"Absolutely not! There's no way I am going out with you or Happy all the time. I can take care of myself, thank you very much. Plus won't it be obvious that I get noticed in public if I hang out with the CEO of Stark Industries or with the Head of Security of Stark Industries? Not to mention that you are Tony Stark's girlfriend and Happy is Tony Stark's close friend." she said trying to convince Pepper.
"Think about it, 'Breaking News, A mysterious young girl often spotted with the CEO of Stark Industries. Citizens of New York City are coming up with theories of their own of who the girl is.', And all of Dad's efforts to hide me from the world would be useless. I don't mind it, of course." she said mimicking the TV news channels. Nancy gave a victorious smile seeing Pepper thinking about what she just said deeply.
After a few seconds of thinking, Pepper sighed in defeat and said, "You're impossible, just like your father. Which is why I'm gonna let him handle you. Now, I'm pretty sure that your room is almost set. So go and get some rest and do whatever you want in your room. F.R.I.D.A.Y will let you know when Tony is back."
"Whatever you say, Your Highness." said Nancy still smiling and playfully bowing before she left for her room.
