I turned around and blinked my eyes. I slightly smiled at the man in front of me.
"Hey, Chan. Nice of you to drop by."
"Uh, yeah." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"What do ya need?"
He looked at me, and it took all of my strength to keep eye contact with him.
"Just... wanted to see you."
"Well here I am!" I slightly laughed.
Stay strong in front of him, Felix. Dont be weak, don't show him how much you still care.
Nah, I was totally over it!
"Yeah." He looked down, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
Someone approached the register and I smiled at them as Chan moved away.
"Great movie! That'll be $16.99."
I let them pay and turned around again to continue my work when he grabbed my arm.
"Felix-"
"Yea?" I turned back to him. His fingers were hot against my skin.
"Let's talk."
"I'd like to, but I need to get back to work."
"No ones here. Please, let's talk. For old times' sake."
"Old times are meant to be forgotten. It's why I always hated history class," I joked.
He let go of my arm with a sigh. "You definitely took this a lot better then I did, huh."
"What?"
He slightly smiled at me. "You look so oblivious right now. I wish we could have worked things out, you know."
I looked down. I did too, right?"
"Me too."
"I need you back."
