The agents stayed at the castle.
The agents socializing, planning.
Morgan was looting the corpses and feeding his insects.
Gordon walks up to him.
"How do you control your 'insects' without standard HIVE gear?"
"Oh, pheromones. Symbiotic relationship. Done. Are you a mechanic? I've heard things about those in the agency and you have alot of knowledge for the average agent."
Morgan replies, grabbing an insect from his capsule.
It looks different from the rest.
"That the queen, mate?"
The riskrunner said in an accent to tease the blind agent.
"Fuck you, just fuck you.."
The Hivemind replied, grabbing a sniper rifle from a corpse.
"Stop whining about useless crap, we need to scavenge food!" Said the riskrunner.
"As much as I want to learn, I agree."
Freeman says, getting up from a chair.
2 agents leave the castle.
3 guard the castle.
The 2 agents go to the outpost, both the blind agent and riskrunner go to the crash site spotting a small hole on the valley that divides the mountains and the bridge.
They go in the small hole.
"Interesting, never seen you two before."
A white haired woman says, grabbing her modified sledge hammer.
She loads a shell inside the cocking mechanism.
"I know you, you are Jade right? The Boogeyman legend around these parts?"
Said the hivemind mocking her.
"Yeah, yeah. I hate it when the agents know my name."
The arbiter replies.
She walks towards them.
Meanwhile in a-
Static.
Briefing.
Opening up memory log.
Access denied.
(God fucking damnit!)
An agent screams, towards a broken machine.
He smacks it.
While inserting a keycard onto the reader.
Access granted.
(Finally!)
"Today, your mission is to investigate the recent disappearance of squad delta.
On the crossroads village." An agent speaks.
"We must also enlimate 2 targets. The arbiter, and the artillerist. Two extremely skilled agents who defected."
The agent continues speaking.
(Sorry for the interruption, we have a problem down in the office.)
The arbiter continues walking as she swung her hammer onto her shoulder, while the hivemind opens his capsule.
Ready to release his swarm.
She jumps into the air, as she punches her Knuckleboom onto her opponents.
The riskrunner evades it, by jumping off the balcony.
The Hivemind barely dodges, as he trips on the ground
Becoming unconscious.
His swarm, ready to attack.
The arbiter charges into the Hivemind, she closes the hatch.
As she fires her Knuckleboom at a swarm.
"Aight, that was pathetic kid."
The renegade arbiter said.
As he pats his back.
"Forget about me?!"
The riskrunner shouts.
He revs his machine gun ready to fire.
"Of course......"
The arbiter replies.
As she jumps down, onto the bottom floor.
The riskrunner fires upon her.
She moves through the offices, to take cover.
Running and crawling like a rabid dog, as she moves from cover to cover.
Getting closer.
The riskrunner continues to fire at her position.
She jumps from a table as she fires her Knuckleboom at the riskrunner.
It hits, and the agent falls on his knees as his minigun flies from across the room.
The arbiter crashes onto the ground.
Both of them are exhausted.
She regains her posture as she walks towards the riskrunner.
"What the fuck even are you?!"
The riskrunner says, in a shocked manner.
The woman tosses a group of syringes onto the ground.
All reading "Riotlabs-prototype V95"
"Get out of my sight."
Said the arbiter, as she walks away.
"Huh?!"
The riskrunner replied, as he stood there incredibly confused.
The Hivemind wakes up after a pretty short nap.
"My head......"
He wakes up to a tent near the castle.
As he grunted as he tried to get up.
He grabs to touch his capsule.
Closed.
He opens it.
"Finally awake?"
The riskrunner speaks in a monotone voice. Seemingly traumatized from the events that transpired.
Atleast to the eyes of the Hivemind.
"Yeah, are you good mate?" Said the Hivemind.
No response.
They moved through though.
They walk back towards their main camp, finding a mess.
The pilot and the other agents are gone.
They are on their own.
