"okay , how ?" i say , stirring up the dipping sauces for breadsticks and chips. "so i wanna prank them by telling them i have a boyfriend. they're so insanely overprotective " she laughs , testing the sauce as she smiles at me.
"okay , i'm down to do that — oh shit they're back. be quiet and act like we didn't just have that convo " i say , and she nods , going on her phone.
"hey guys - emma !" they say , embracing her. they're like her uncles basically and it's so cute. "y/n hey " they say , then embracing me.
"my love " vin kisses me , hugging me like he hasn't seen me in weeks. i love him so much. "i missed you " i say , as all of vinnies friends , my "brothers " kio, anthony , bryce ,zack , josh and jordan all set the table as they always do.
"i missed you too doll , here's this for you " he hands me a bouquet of flowers with chocolate. "awe , how sweet " i say , hugging and kissing him again.
everyone's satisfied with their food and snacks , drinks as we all sit at the table. "so , i have something to announce " my daughter says , eyeing me as i wink at her.
vinnies energy changes , and he gets serious as all of her uncles too. reggie walks in and sees the energy shift.
"okay what's going on " he says , siting next to emma. "i have a boyfriend " she announces , and all her uncles start staring at eachother , angrily.
"his name is jacob , and i really really like him " she says , blushing as she's trying not to laugh. vinnie puts his drink down and looks at our daughter.
"where does this little jacob live ? " he asks , and i look at him sternly. "what does he look like ?" reggie asks.
"location ?" kio says , drinking his water. "parents ? age ?" zack asks. she laughs as i start too , and everyone's now confused.
"i can't believe you really thought i'd have a boyfriend. " she laughs , taking care of her plate as she finished her food. i laugh as they do too , vinnie releasing a sigh of relief.
