Third Person's POV

"What!?" Skylar yells in disbelief "What do you mean Jaden's gonna be late for the exam?"

Syrus explains "he overslept in the dorm, I panicked and rush here"

Skylar sighs and says "Just hope Jaden doesn't get here too late" he grabs the piece of paper and looks at Syrus "next time get plenty of rest is bad for your health, good luck," He says before starting his exam

"Yeah, you too Skylar" Syrus replies while starting his 

15 minutes pass by quickly and Skylar writes the answer to his final question of the exam he gets up and walks down to Professor banner and hands him the exam the professor and some of the classmates look at Skylar with shock

"Can you check if there's a wrong answer?" Skylar ask 

"Hm...I wasn't supposed to do that but, I'll see" he sees the exam before his face looks shocked and turns to Skylar "y-you aced it" he stutters

Some of the classmates look shocked including Bastion, Syrus, Alexis, and Chazz who are still in their written text

'That fast?'
'Skylar's amazing!'
'Is he even human!?'

"R-Really?" Skylar asks also in shock his teacher nods

"Yes oh and Dr. Crowler has a word with you outside of the classroom it involves the cards," Banner tells him

Skylar raises an eyebrow "New cards?" he nods "Alright then, I'll head there now"

"Okay, oh and while that could you give this to, Mister Jaden for me since he just arrived," Banner says as Skylar looks up at the seat and sees Jaden walking down towards us with a nervous laugh

Skylar gives Jaden the text "here you go, Jaden. Hope you pass" Skylar says with a smile which somehow it didn't like for a certain someone from the seats

Jaden blushes and stutters "U-Uh yeah, thanks! Hahaha" Jaden laugh nervously with that Skylar walks past the other classmate "Hope you all pass, as well," Skylar says to his other classmates with a smile which makes them all turn determined even Syrus got determined as Skylar walks out of the classroom happily

Once Skylar walks out, he hears a familiar voice saying "congrats on acing the writing exam" Skylar looks in front and sees Dr. Crowler standing in front of him

"Thank you so much" Skylar respond

'He didn't just inherit Shun's Dueling style, but also Alice's insane knowledge' Crowler thought with a nod "so you know why I wanted to see you?"

Skylar nods "Something involving new cards, what were those for?"

Crowler chuckles "Don't worry, you will get new cards handed by yours truly"

he hands out a small envelope with cards and says "Oh, and these cards aren't like normal cards, these cards once belong to your, Biological Father Shun Kazami. you know about him do you?"

Skylar's eyes widen "I do..."

"How about I get this I'll be setting you up in a duel against an Obelisk if you're able to beat him, you'll get your father's cards," Crowler tells Skylar

"And if I lose?" Skylar ask

"You'll get the cards but you will fail the exam" Crowler explains

'I would say no, but if this involves the field exam, there's no turning back,' Skylar thinks "Alright Crowler you got yourself a deal" Skylar says determining in his thought 'You're planning something Crowler, I don't know what it is but I don't like this arrangement
