Missing Cat [V.H FF]

• Twenty Three •

I excuse myself while jacob and paige start to talk. I walk up the stairs and go into vinnies room. I see him laying with hera. "yes?" he said confused because I just walked in his room without permission, not to mention we haven't talked in forever, oh well.

"Can you keep an eye on them" I ask hoping he would say yes. "We aren't even friends and you want me to do a favor for you, no way" I scoff "you're such an ass, can you just be nice for once in your damn life." He laughs and continues to pet hera, "what's in it for me" he says with a smirk "I don't know, what do you want."

"hmmmm, to take you on a date" I grab a water bottle off of his desk and throw it at him. "Ow"  "I have a boyfriend you dumb fuck, plus you had your chance" he smirks yet again "oh did I? that's funny" he sits up continuing to hold hera. I walk over to him and snatch her out of his hands. "She's mine until you agree to help me" I say walking away. I walk down the stairs and paige and jacob are still talking.

"Bring me her back she's not yours you have a cat" he says running down the steps, I jokingly walk out the front door with hera. She just continues to purr as I pet behind her ear, I love her so much. "Give him his damn cat ellne" jacob says in a rude tone. The fuck? Man clearly wants to get punched in the mouth

"Don't talk to her like that" vinnie says to jacob, paige just stands their awkwardly. I continue to hold hera in my arms so she doesn't try to run off. "I'm just holding the cat don't be an ass"  I say annoyed, why would he speak to me like that?

He scoffs and walks inside. Paige follows him, what is her deal she's like his shadow. I walk back in and go up to vinnies room and I lay down with hera. "He's an ass" I say sighing "he's your boyfriend" I give him a death glare, but he wasn't wrong. "He's never talked to me like that" I say confused "that's because there's another girl around, once he changes the way he acts when different people come around you know he's shady, i don't even know why you got with him" vinnie says taking hera from me. What an ass.

"Vinnie please keep an eye on him, and paige" I say looking at him, he rolls his eyes "you should not have to do that ellne, clearly you don't trust him, so why be with him?" He was right, why was I with someone who I couldn't trust, I shouldn't need a spy to make sure he's doing everything a boyfriend should be doing. Why is it so hard to stay loyal or do good things, is the bare minimum to much to ask for.

Vinnie came and sat beside me. He placed his hand on my leg. "I don't want you getting hurt ellne." Why does he care so much? He needs to stop being nice to me or I'll start to like him again. "Stop switching your moods you're so bipolar" I scoff and swat his hand off my leg. "I'm not bipolar."

I laugh at his words. "Yes because being an ass to me and then switching up to nice isn't bipolar" I say standing up patting his shoulder. "I'll be back for hera tomorrow, if you have any updates text me, or just tell me tomorrow, me and jacob are baking" I say getting excited. He rolls his eyes. "Whatever. Now get out" "gladly" I say walking out of his room.
